I am aiming to reduce my classical vinyl collection by half, starting with the baroque era.

Widely acclaimed Matrix Audio X-Sabre 3 at its price point, rivalling more expensive DACs.

Beautifully designed and finished in black aluminium (carved from a solid block of aluminium) and glass. It is a very good Delta Sigma Dac.

Condition is as new. It comes with all the original packaging in excellent condition.

I am the second owner, bought it on StereoNet from Justin in April 24.

Only used it for about a week to ran a side-by-side comparison vs a combo UltraRendu + Chord DAVE.

I thought that the years would have gotten the best of the 10 year old DAVE, but the latter still sounds better to my ears.

Loved the simplicity of the Matrix (Ethernet straight into it, can run Spotify off it, great interface), and the sound quality is excellent.

Specifications are available on any hifi store site that sells them.
Audio Science Review also highly recommended it based on its measurements and build quality.

Very nice fabulous sounding vintage MM cartridge with a great reputation in Germany for amazing value for price , nicknamed the “Klotz” or the chunk. Good Allrounder with warm and rounded but still detailed sound signature.
As new with original box and needle protector.
NOS replacement needles or some made in Switzerland are easily and relatively cheap available

Excellent version of this rare turntable with Fidelity Research FR-24 Mk 2 tonearm and very low hours Ortofon SPU N cartridge in very good condition with all 3 weights in a nice wooden plinth with original tonearm cable and FR headshell.
I have enjoyed this turntable a lot over the last 9 months or so and used it with a very old Kondo AN Io cartridge, a Nagaoka NM 11A and an Ortofon Classic N SPU.
Dead quiet and steady motor just like an SP10, just not as well known ( at least outside of Japan).
The real surprise was the FR-24 arm though. I thought of it as a more medium weight arm for higher compliance cartridges but no, while this is not a FR-64, it is very suitable for low compliance cartridges like SPU’s and sounds fantastic.
The timber of the plinth is in good condition and the cover shows little signs of age and cleaning but overall in very good and undamaged condition. I have added some Audio Technica feet and if you are interested in a different cartridge, there are a few options.
Regarding the price, I am happy to negotiate slightly but it should also be considered that a new SPU Classic N currently sits around 1500
AUD and an average FR 24 Mk2 arm will cost you 700 dollars.

This is a Japanese voltage turntable and needs a step down transformer.

Excellent Japanese vintage SUT in good condition but with a little patina. Works perfectly for most MC cartridges that are not super low output like Kondo or SPU. Used it with a Shinon Red.

Selling my Meze Empyrean (MK1). Honestly a bit of a shame to let this bad boy go. This is absolutely fabulous headphone and still one of the most comfortable and enjoyable flagships I’ve owned.
The only reason I’m moving them on is that recently I’ve been busy and find myself using my IEMs much more, so these haven’t been getting the listening time they deserve, so I’m gradually letting go of some of my hi-fi gear.
For those who know the Empyrean, they really are something special, incredibly smooth, spacious and musical. And the comfort is honestly second to none, you can wear them for hours without fatigue.
Condition is excellent and fully functional. As it is been sitting the box for a while.

Selling my Chord Qutest DAC. This is a fantastic little DAC and easily one of the best standalone DACs in its price range. It’s been a core part of my setup and has always impressed me.
Honestly a bit sad to see this one go, but recently I’ve been listening mostly through IEMs with portable gear, so my desktop chain hasn’t been getting much use.
For those familiar with the Qutest, no need to say more, this is just very clean, resolving and natural sound. It also has the selectable filter options so you can slightly tailor the presentation to your preference.

Selling my Cayin IHA-6 headphone amplifier. This is one of those pieces that’s a bit underrated in the market but if anyone knows this is very capable and powerful, it can drive my meze empyrean just well (also selling).

The only reason I’m moving it on is that I’ve been using IEMs much more recently, so my full-size headphone setup hasn’t been getting much use.

This is the Version 2 Power supply upgrade for Bluesound Node N130, X N131 and N132.
I found it best to be used with a Linear Power Supply but other guys have found great success with a low noise SMPS such as an IFI.

It was used on my n130 which I have now sold.

When used with a linear power supply it brought the streamer closer to a 2k one. Worked perfectly with my Gustard R26. Rave reviews online.

Up for sale are my Massdrop/Fostex TH-X00 Mahogany headphones.

They don't make these anymore, but, back before people had to look at a graph to see whether they were allowed to like a headphone, they were quite popular. Lots of bass, a fair bit of zing in the upper treble, great for stuff like RatM.

I've marked the condition as Good because the pads are a little flaky (TH610 pads are apparently a drop in replacement), and the cable has the inevitable internal twist that these all get. Everything functions well, however, and the cups are gorgeous.

I have been using these on the end of a cheapish amp for the television for sometime now and have not in recent times used them in my main system, so I think it is time they wereused by someone who can enjoy them. I already have/had a much more expensive pair of speakers which I much prefer. I am Firm on the price.
Because of their weight pickup is preferred. Inspection is okay, but sorry no demos. They do work and sound fine, but of course with age have a few marks on the cabinets, which doesn’t affect the sound quality of course. These are not totally black, but a Greenish/black and were imported from Japan according to the person I brought them from. I also have a set of stands around 300 mils high and there base and top are triangler in shape which I will throw in.
