SOLD: FS (Perth) Accuphase E202 Integrated Amplifier

Featured Replies

Item: Accuphase E202 Integrated Amplifier - 100W RMS

Location: Perth, inner northern suburbs

Price: $SOLD

Item Condition: Excellent for age. Works flawlessly in all respects, and there are a lot of controls there! Since purchase I have added the speaker output to banana plug adapters (removable) and given it an all over detail & tighten. It really does sparkle now as in the photos. Plus now located in Perth :-)

Reason for selling: New toys in, something has to go. Slippery slope/journey case study here.

Crave vintage quality & get it --> Someone whispers "Gales" & I get some --> Gale restorer whispers "more power" --> Eventually get more power & the Gale restorer was very right --> Perfect Accuphase now redundant due to no fault of its own

Payment Method: Pickup – Cash

Extra Info: See Thommo's original for sale thread http://www.stereo.net.au/forums/index.php/topic/86485-accuphase-e202-integrated-amplifier-as-classic-as-classic-gets/?p=1407608

Just for you Bill!

An absolute cracker of an amp.  I had one that ran faultlessly for years, bought it from a mate for whom it had run faultlessly and sold it to a mate who has 6 pairs of speakers hooked up to it and it still keeps on rocking!  Looks fabulous, has a decent phono stage and the low enhance button is just the ticket for low volume listening.

Hits another level with something like a croft micro in front of it as a tube pre-amp and a I see the owner has over-come it's only real vice which is the speaker terminals built for bare wire with some terminal blocks.

Retro cool, heavy and tough!

Damn it would be an idea to drive my sihtty work speakers with this babe

Hey, thanks for all the interest from the eastern states. At this point I'm willing to wait a bit for a local buyer. Maybe in a few weeks I'll summon the up the courage to put the beast in the caring hands of a courier

Local interest here. PM sent.
