If you have some time, go to Whipper Snapper distillery in Perth, Kensington St, close to Royal Perth Hospital.

 

They sell their moonshine (Whipper Snapper clear), a 2 month or so aged bourbon (Whipper Snapper amber coloured) and recently (since June) a 2 year aged bourbon (Upshot, darkish brown). The 2 month old and the two year old are fantastic!

    I was gifted a bottle of the Wild Turkey Russel's Reserve single barrel the other day.

     

    Looking forward to finding out if WT has lifted their game since I last gave them a go.

    Don't want to offend Wild Turkey fans, but they'd have a long way to go to get to par...

     

    Having said that, free bourbon usually tastes better!  I was gifted a bottle of honey Wild Turkey.  I've been trying to give it away for 6 months...aw well, Xmas is around the corner...  :D

    Spending an evening with Jimmy Russell is one of my all time favourite memories....  I always have and always will love my Wild Turkey.

    One of the Baby Mustuds has a Canadian partner. I have been introduced to Canadian whisky. So far I think the occasions has been more memorable that the whisky however I shall persevere, For I am nothing if not devoted to the cause.
