High end bourbon at DM is not so high end unfortunately. Mid shelf at best stateside IMO.

 

I certainly agree that bourbon tends toward less complexity but a few things done exceptionally well can be world class.

Not 80-100 unfortunately.

I love scotch too but think the price range you have mentioned is a bit of a sweet spot for us here in terms of value for dollar spend. Plenty of tasty options.

    I think Turkey use the worst grade of cork possible. A very common sight with them.

     

    Great pour there. The current 101 is a joke.

    Problem solved with a decanter and strainer but as much as I love the popping sound of a cork prior to pouring of a drink its moments like these i'm glad to see the increasing use of the trusty old screw top!

    Can be polarising but I rather enjoy it
