TOPSHELF
Vinyl really is an investment of time and money, from purchases to the set up, cartridges and tonearms then there is the phonostage and rcm's the variables are wide. You can still get this all right and put on a re issue of a classic and it can sound disappointing, pressings are part of the puzzle. There does come a time when all the synergy works together and everything is in order, you pick up that Japanese pressing from the mailbox and retire to your room like a child on the night before Christmas you tease out the record and hold it like a new born. The needle drops and in that silence you hear the room grow bigger...........

waricle
I must admit I've never heard any sound at all from the dust bug. In terms of it being earthed, it looks the same as the old style dust bugs but has a wire from the brush head which is connected to the phono pre's earth terminal. It cured all static propensity for me and only cost $25 or thereabouts. Edit: Here's something similar: http://www.sleevecityusa.com/Antistatic-Record-Cleaning-Arm-p/tac-01.htm Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Just ordered one! Thanks guys!!!!!
