It isn't looking great for outside either but supposed to be clearing showers till early arvo so might need a patio heater all the same as pretty chilly!

BBQ is warming up...we're all setup waiting for family to arrive

 

Ended up a very nice afternoon at evil Springs for day 2 of the Xmas festivities.

Just a few snaps of the delectable Lamb Back-strap Salad with roast Veges & Cakes, Pudding & Fruit for afters.

all looks very yummy evil ! 

 

was just a lovely afternoon our way, I didn't really take any more pics of food after loading up the bbq with some veggies for char grilling,

 

 

we had a couple of variants of chicken pies baked potatoes, grilled marinated chops and chicken, salads, and a rice dish. nothing ala gourmet or anything just some tasty home made foods

 

for dessert there was home made strawberry ice-cream, a christmas chocolate cake... turned out a nice afternoon very relaxed, with most of things pre done. couldn't have asked for more weather wise !
