    CD night and just a quick few words to reiterate just what a kickass CD player the Magnetar UDP900 is.....phenomenal SQ! The following sounded insanely good.

    Then I finished with a CD-R that I compiled years ago from PC downloads titled "Bass Mix" featuring songs from The Presets, Sneaky Sound System, Gotye, Gossip and a few other bass driven artists.

    What a fun night it was. The woofers got a fine workout and indeed they excelled.....my chest got a good massage!🥰

    A 2013 4 CD reissue of albums that Archie Roach recorded for Mushroom Records between 1990 and 2002. Charcoal Lane, Jamu Dreaming, Looking For Butter Boy and Sensual Being. with some extra demo and live recordings included. ( I ordered this from amazon.com.au in October and it arrived yesterday). I have only played disc 1 Charcoal Lane so far, produced by Paul Kelly and Steve Connolly. It is a pretty good album, contains the song Took the Children Away. Archie Roach sadly passed away in 2022, this release looks like a pretty good testimonial to Archie and his music.

    I picked up a copy of that album a few weeks ago in a 2nd hand rack for a cheap price. Haven't got around to playing it yet.
