Any Far Cry fans?

Jumping in a bit late to this thread to give a big thumbs-up to Far Cry. Massive fan. Have played almost every single iteration of FC multiple times, including the spinoffs and add-ons (except FC Instincts). There's something about the formula of exploring a world, gathering weapons and items and having random encounters and adventures while still progressing in a story. I do enjoy the Far Cry Arcade from FC5 too - so much creativity and adaptability!

Hard to pick a favourite, but FC2 stands out as a memorable setting and great game design - must have clocked that game at least 5 times. I hope they can continue generating creative iterations of the game. Still jump into FC6 regularly for some explosive shenanigans, while also enjoying Trepang 2, which is a pretty intense FPS.

  • I'm 62   Fun being part of the story, instead of just being an observer like with watching movies.

  • @muon* you are the only 62 year young person I know who games and better still, first person shooter at that! Most people over 50 can’t even watch the screen without getting sick!

  • Must admit my reaction times were better in my 40's   Have to play on one up from the easiest settings these days 😞
