Hi Folks, 

 

Here is our HT after 5 years on and off of blood, sweat, tears and grazed knuckles, 

 

Affectionately known as the Lolly Shop 😊 

 

Configuration is a  7.2.4 set up with audio being a Lyngdorf MP60, Parasound Halo Amps and MKS300 System, 

 

On the video front it’s a JVC Z1, 2.40 AT 155 inch screen, Lumagen Radiance Pro and Oppo 205

 

Room size is approx 8500mm x 4000mm with a bulkhead, light tray and star ceiling,

The only thing missing is popcorn spilled all over the floors, otherwise it looks like a commercial cinema. Well done!

In the coming months I have decided to relocate the Z1, and to be honest should have done this during the build, instead of hanging it in the actual theatre, 

 

Very pleased with the PQ, but the Z1 is a loud and noticeable during those quiet scenes, so will work on a custom made shelf in the equipment room and have a portal cut out below the split system in the rear frame, 

 

I already have AC Infinity Fans in the equipment room that extract the heat, and once the doors are closed to the equipment room they are dead silent, so I am confident it will be the same deal for the Z1,  

 

Just have to get motivated...
