You're right ... the full version was on one of his compilation that was released a few years back ...

There's also a disco remix version which is quite nice ...

BTW, George Lam's 十分十二吋 that started all these megamixes is also not easy to find ...  ;D

Ah yes, I managed to get this more recent 4 vol as well ...

But my very 1st copy of George Lam's 十分十二吋 is from a WEA EP compilation that was released in 1999 ...

Found a shop in Sino Centre (near Mongkok/Yaumatei).  Unit 1302 iirc (13th floor, unit directly opposite the washroom).  They have quite a fair bit of the China audiophile CDs as posted by bros here.  Majority at HKD$45 (S$9) (Tong Li, Lily Chan, Susan Wong etc).  HK press at HKD$88 - HKD$15X (Mimi Lo and HK artistes LPCDs).  Concert DVDs oso cheaper than most shops within the centre and outside.

A friend of mine maybe going to HK around mid Dec and was wandering any bros here have any idea where I can find some Hi Fi Shops selling audiophile gears.

 

Besides getting some good & cheap audiophile CDs, I may want to take this opportunity during this trip to grab some accessories such as cables tweaks and I understand the Audio Note stuff there are much cheaper than those here.

 

Do share some tips and whereabouts that I can find such shops there.

Heard this new album over the internet, same music label as Tong Li.

 

Thought it sounded pretty good. Really like her deep silky voice that resembles a little like Cai Qin.

 

Wanted to get it, went to NDV but they didn't carry. Sold out at Thanks 3D Laser in Chinatown. Anyone else saw this selling else where?

hi Ed, you are most welcome.

 

The shop is at People's Park Complex right beside Chinatown NEL Station on the 2nd floor.

 

I'm not sure of the unit number but it's located near to the bridge crossing over to Bee Cheng Hiang. When near to the shop... there is a strong medicated ointment smell from those massage parlors. Just follow the smell and you should see a shop selling lots of MIC cds and karaoke discs.

Went to Popular at Bras Basah Complex a few days ago...there was no sale, no Tong Li, no Lily Chen, no Yao Si Ting, very very few MIC CDs. Had to buy from 1st floor shop at $14/ disc again. >:(

 

Are you sure promo ends on 12 Dec or did I miss  something?
