I'm not a bit Scorpions fan, but I am familiar with their songs, so the way all the songs are re-arranged is simply brilliant. As for the CD, the SQ is top notch and captures the vibe of the concert. jeromelang Posted December 19, 2011 Share Posted December 19, 2011 this evening i came home under a drizzling rain.... moody sia.... then i opened my mailbox and found a couple of parcels inside. yipppeee! the first one when i opened up i found this: yucks! the seller just pack it inside some flimsy plastic bag. no bubble wrap at all. disgusting! anyway this disc i wanted after a discussion on AA. it seems people there mostly recommend the charles dutoit version on RBCD. this 2nd bid was successful only after having lost out on an earlier bid. The copy I bought eBay 2 weeks ago wasn't the first print. Compared to the one pictured below, it has the words "Made in W. Germany by PDO" print on the silver ring spindle hole area. The sound isn't half that bad, really. My experience is that the original first print will sound better. The performance is more enjoyable compared to the Hyperion sacd.
