The Marc Moulin album is a absolute classic. Worthy of many repeat plays.

Latest hauls......

Over four weeks back in Perth, a few visits to several local charity stores (mainly looking for books) I found these at 2- a piece.

Then yesterday back in Zurich, twenty minutes digging in my local music dealers 2- bins.

Some bargains there, Sting among others. People are really mad these days. Well done.

I’ve got that compilation as a couple of other albums, but there are some good tunes selected for this cd.

I recently paid a visit to the Addicted to Audio store in Subiaco, hoping to find a replacement for my speakers, and I walked away with this incredible SACD. The sound is absolutely superb, amazing resolutions,   even in what I would call an average setup. The recording and mastering are so exceptional that it creates an experience so immersive, I truly felt as if I were transported to a live performance happening in my own space. If you ever get the chance to hear it, don't pass it up! Alternatively, if you're in Perth, feel free to swing by my place for a quick listening session.

I can't recommend it highly enough! A special thanks to Dan Cross ( @ELECTRiCPiNEAPPLE ) from A2A WA.

Cheers

Hi, you’ve piqued my curiosity- I can’t really make out if the SACD is all the one artist or the title of the album

Is it MA on SA?

Also what type of music is recorded?

Thanks,

Andrew

I was wondering around and found  a second hand bookshop that sells CDsand found  Mozart Piano Sonatas Complete by Daniel Barbohiem.

Very good playing and sound from the late 60s to early 70s.

Many pay day lunch breaks spent in his shop. I remember how loyal his regular customers were. "Have you got.....?", "No, but I can get it in, next week." "OK!"

I'm always buying CDs........................they get ripped to the computer and randomly listened to!

So, I can't recommend any at the moment.
