Have had a great time at Tony’s last Sunday. Setup is so do resolving with unprecedented resolutions/clarity/precision and focus sound imaging. Speakers completely disappeared, and yet the magical SPOD further improve the dynamic with even better PRAT! How can it been possible, is beyond me! One needs be there to be educated. 
His current setup, is so so resolving to a level that any minor changes within actually made audible differences. 
 

The last time that I visited him  it was the re: the newly acquired DAC. I walked away…, hic hic…, and as a result…, new DAC is ordered and on its way this Spring! This visit…, it’s not going to be cheap!!!!🤕😫

You can’t. You must attend the show to pick one as complimentary gift on entry.

You can order but it’s not easy for overseas buyer.  Not long ago they were ordering the 2021 CD.  But it’s a long form and for locals so I didn’t bother. 

I've been wanting to buy some Chinese  Audiophile CDs but struggle to get them here. Doesn't help as I can read Chinese too!

Sounds like a trip to Singapore. However, under this COVID pandemic will not be easy.  If you can get your hands on those  Accuphase SACD series or “The Abdolute Sound” SACD series…. I have always brought them with me when audition new setup or audio setup I have greater interest in…

I’m now running Pilium full loom. The big fat box is Pilium Archilles. 300W @ 8Ω, 600W @ 4Ω, 1200W @ 2Ω (1 Ohm stable). 
 

The top silver box is Pilium Ares pre amp. One wise people told me all the liquid sound is because of this preamp, which Pilium probably add special sauce to it. 
 

And the black one underneath is the Pilium Elektra Dac. The first dac make me understand how much a dac can improve the sound.  I bought it first hence different colour to rest of the system, mix and match is the new trend yes?

 

This is a very new and young brand, probably not a lot of people know it and probably will easily mix it with Plinius, but they are different.  

Looks amazing, TDX, lots of buzz about the Pilium gear these days.

Magico S5 mk2 for my 16sqm room. Works just fine 😝

 

Although Magico doesn’t really need a lot of watts, but it’s hungry for current to completely drive it. With Pilium system I heard the deep and clean bass with lots of textures.

The travelling boxes are super nice. It’s a three man job to lift and install the amp.
