Art Watson
Hard to argue about the influence this particular two-album artist had on his chosen genre.
Little_Joe
Broken bells. I’m not sure if they are still going but only released 2 studio albums to date and good ones too. Yazoo By no means a favourite, or even a band I particularly like, but they only released 2 studio albums. Edited July 27, 2020 by Little_Joe Another band came to mind
Doppelganger
One of my favourites from the 80's:
rowbo
Nice one @metal beat & @Art Watson - that got me thinking as this was a hard thread to add too...do posthumous records count? Notorious's 2nd was in the bag so hence he was partying (but on the wrong side of town), but Eazy-E's was a year later... Eazy-Duz-It blew my mind as a white teenager going to a private high school.

Afraid not, only when they were in the land of the living. Otherwise, Hendrix would have like 30 albums

Art Watson
But @rowbo with Eazy-E you were so close. NWA only released Straight Outta Compton and N***z4Life. This discounts a slew of compilation albums and the EP 100 Miles and Runnin' - but I believe that's in keeping with the rules here.
scobb
If we're just trying to find bands with two albums the list would be quite long. King were another one I liked at the time. as was Haircut One Hundred I don't think I should continue otherwise this thread will turn into and early 80's pop fest!
