I have a Graham Slee Novo headphone amp on loan at the moment, already better than my home made effort.

A pair of rather old and tatty Beyer DT 880s that still sound wonderful.

My headphone rig which I really enjoy. Even my wife loves listening to tunes on it.

Setup is iTunes - Audirvana+ - HRT Music Streamer II - Little Dot MkIII - Sennheiser HD650.

The HD650 and tube amps are a good pairing. Waiting to try the Graham Slee Solo to compare.

I've got a Graham Slee Solo UL for sale and can vouch for their quality. Enjoy!

Violectric amps are such well built amps. Love the look of them. I tried the HD650 with a V100, and it was a resolving and clean amp.

I'm waiting to trial the GS Solo via the GS home trial to give me enough time to see how the HD650 perform with a solid state amp.

The bass is extremely extended whilst maintaining excellent control. Mids are very prominent and engaging, and the cable is Q-audio's Audeze LCD-2 cable.

I'm trying the GS Novo with HD414s at the moment, you're going to love it.

Oh and sorry for the delay :)

Hahaha, enjoy the Novo Batty. I've put my name in with Cheekyboy, for the Novo whenever it becomes available. There is no rush, as I'm in no rush to spend on audio atm (although there are way too much temptations).

There are some awesome headphone rigs here on SNA. Would love to try some planar magnetic phones one day.

A cracking pair of photos :thumb:

Thanks Hergest. Burson offer to double the warranty on the amp to 2 years if the buyer sends in a pic of their setup - they put some of them up on their blog for marketing..

Okey Dokey... (I upgraded myself to a WA22:)

Just gorgeous sound:)

Beyerdynamic T90, Woo WA6, Rega P5, Ortofon 2M Bronze, Musical Surroundings Phenomena, II Rega TT PSU.. Denon CD Player... Not being used...)

I feared more emphasis on the ticks and pops.. But nope, does not distract at all:) and yes in my humble opinion, vinyl ANY day of the week:)

Thought I'd better post a pic or two of my portable rig given the immense enjoyment it has been giving me over the holidays...

Noting exotic; just a 160Gb iPod loaded with losless files, Fiio E11 amplifier and Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro (250 Ohm) cans.  I think this is the right price / performance ratio for me and I can't see any upgrades happening for a while.

I'm very impressed with the E11.  It drives the DT990s with ease, even in low power mode and on the 'low gain' setting.  That saidm it does seem to have a bit more 'weight and authority' in high power mode so that's what I'm running (with gain on low and no EQ).

It is truly amazing what sort of sound quality an inexpensive portable setup can offer these days.

Anyway; back to toe tappin'.  ;-)

Bit of a mash together of gear, but this is my headphone setup which caters for vinyl and cd and digital (if I connect my macbook to the burson).
