Pale Sketcher.

Dark, foreboding and enveloping. Who would have thought that someone who started out playing in a grindcore group could produce something this beautiful.

yeah it's great

he is from Perth and put out a handful of records back in the day, on a label called Red Ember. Then disappeared for years, and has just come out with a ton of new stuff over the last couple of years, and it's all really good.

been spinning a lot of Trentemoller lately, no one does it quite like him. He put out some classic tracks early 2000's.

Priest - New Flesh

Lovers of old school electronica needs to check this album out. To me it probably best reminds me of early Depesh Mode. Killer debut release this is. Check it out!

Seems I'm not alone in this view as they have just been awarded best Swedish  synth act for 2017

thanks - Loved the synths, but the vocals /voice grated me for some reason - will have another listen later this week.   If you like this you will luv Cold Case - his vocals are a lot deeper.   waiting patiently for the new Soft Moon to arrive.

totally different synth in being slower and more modern pop.  Sohn - Rennen on 4ad

another absolutely stunning track on Salt Mines out of Melbourne. I cannot get enough of this label atm.

Killer electro, digging back on a 90's feel but super refined.

Hyms - Water Acid, Salt Mines 005 [2017]

Richard H Kirk - Dasein.   new album from the ex Cabaret Voltaire keyboard wiz.   sounds like the cover - dark, brooding, driving electronica.  Tis very good.

probably posted this before... however great "re imagining" of a Barry Adamson track from A Certain Ratio!

FSOL - Lifeforms

Finally the reissue of this classic album is here. A little worried as it was released on Universal, but the SQ seems to be even better than The Orbs and Orbital's reissues.

A very quiet pressing by Optimal Media. Probably just a repress. Deep & low bass, clear, spacious and dynamic sound. A long wait but it's worth the wait after all. Very happy to finally have this album on vinyl. :)
