O.k thanks guys....I seem to be picking up Gippsland better here in Doveton than I do with the local channels. Could that have something to do with me being so close to Mt. Dandenong? Thanks Try this part of the forum: http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showforum=9 They answer you're looking for depends a lot on what model the thing is. Also, when you say channels over "40", do you mean frequency style channels, or logical channels? And when you post your question at the above link, mention where in Oz you are. That could be important too, depending on your answer to the immediately previous question.

BlueDusk
60 PRIME (Wollongong) High Definition (Plays as Standard Definition) LCN 60 will switch to HD when there's native HD programming being shown, otherwise it redirects to the SD stream. Eg Channel 9 Can be manually tuned in by frequency code: 191500 Channel 9's centre frequency is actually 191625. also has anyone tuned in Television Sydney on their set top boxes channel 31 analogue Not possible with a digital set top box. Sadivad
For viewers in Sydney I notice that Macquarie Digital (channel 47 on Digital 44) no longer exists and it is just the standard Welcome To Digital 44 screen. Not that I am crying much over it as I never really watched it but it is still a shame to see less than more for those that want choice.

Sadivad
It's riveting mate Channel NSW The Australian Christian Channel Expo - A World On Show ABC news headlines (text only) Wecome to Digital 44 main screen The Parliament channels Channel Guide - this is actually very good and useful for seeing what is on every channel without having to flick to each channel and viewing each channels EPG especially Channel 10's that always seems to start at midnight the night before even though the shows have already been on, its infuriating. Actually Maquarie Digital was not around when D44 first started it was added later so in effect we have just returned to how the service was when it first started
