I noticed you said amps (as in plural). Not insinuating anything are we seeing as it seems i've gone beyond my lowly technician status to the more god like engineer in trying  to fix some issues with the Benchies  even if i have now truthfully owned them longer than you ???

Well the Linn is on its first test run....

sounds pretty good! 

Too much output from the left channel. Back to the Fozgometer. 
With all the added discs for weight the Wand is difficult to get right. ?

It can be a bit fiddly initially, how many have you got on?

The weight is right. It’s the angle. Slightly left all the time. Have moved weights left to right with no change. Will look further into it tomorrow. Got the ***** now

With a unipivot like this, shouldn't be an issue.

As long as the tonearm wire isn't being restricted,  the arm should self level on shaft.

I actually tried that. 
Just got frustrated and stopped for today.  it’s not a huge amount more on the left. Maybe the cantilever is off. I’ll try another cart tomorrow

Holton inspired 300w amp built by our own @mwhouston.

Huge thanks to Mark who has built this beast I have named Zeus! 
1Kva transformer and 80,000uf capacitance. 
It is really pushing the 4435 to a limit I haven’t heard before.

Mate, glad you enjoy it. It will improve over the next 20 to 50hours. Your rig looks well throughout and neat.

This amp is astounding. 
The power over the 4435 is phenomenal. But from the lowest level to the ear piercing it is controlled and precise. No harshness, just even music across the whole bandwidth. 
Haven’t spent much time with the Bel Canto yet so setting that up tonight.

As I have said many times about the Holton modules is transparency and bass depth and control.  Can’t wait to hear you big JBLs.

Found some slot tweeters locally. Bit of restoration required but it’s coming along. 
I’ll try them on top of the 4435
