  • It has been quite the journey! Until recently, I couldn't have been more pleased with my decision to invest in a high-quality pair of speakers—something I never imagined I would own, especially given

We finally managed to get them in with a team of 5. I want to express my gratitude to the team at Addicted to Audio for their assistance. I also want to acknowledge @brodricj and @ELECTRiCPiNEAPPLEfor

  • I am delighted to have achieved my goal.

It looks like it.

Addicted's website says "Sold as a Pair of Two Single Mono Blocks".

Perhaps $320K for a pair? Or maybe two for the price of two.

@AccMagi7s how’s the sound with those new mono blocks?

These are not the intended acquisitions! The larger Brothers are regarded as respectable when paired with the existing M7s. Even though they are still entry level in their lineage, they deliver a remarkable leap in auditory delight, reaching new heights.

Although only a brief period has been spent listening, it’s clear: they drive the lower spectrum with PRAT, offering improved focus and separation! The top end extends further than ever before in this room, with clarity and precision that are astonishing.

Experience an intimate session with them alone in dim to low-light conditions to unlock their full auditory potential.

Merry Xmas to you all.

Even with a trained ear, certainty remains elusive. As a method of reflection, obtaining honest feedback from a younger, more sensitive listener is essential. To everyone's surprise, the results aligned closely.

Perhaps…!? I am concerned that removing the existing rug may set back the room's acoustics and worsen the sq. 😁😰🤪

I concur with the reviewer on having these 1800s in my setup.

I experience firsthand the crystal-clear sound imaging that never feels tiring or overly analytical. The more you listen, the more you're hooked—craving just one more moment of pure audio bliss!

So the Goldmund Preamps into the mixed!

OMG!!!

I have received my Accuphase PS 1250 and indeed it's the best I have measured and listened to this far. It goes great with my newly acquired C3900. Very happy. So if anyone wants to buy a c2900 or a A75 let me know

This is the non "S" model preamp?

Not much difference between the C-3900 and C-3900 S - in terms of specs.

….ah people what does any if this Accuphase lovin’ have to do with @AccMagi7s thread ?!? Show some respect.

well, just like experienced in your system (which I am still grateful for) the C3900 and power supply bring more details, clean up the noise and make for a black background. You are more than welcome to come and have a listen at some point, it is very different than it used to be

Brodric came over today with his redundant Halco preamps. I have to say, the man smiled throughout since that Halco preamp was hooked in. I recalled his remark, “This is the best I have ever heard from this prep!!”

I am glad, though it was a bit drier than the C3900, it was still very listenable. I am shock to learn how affordable it is in the scheme of things.

He had also listened to the Goldmund Telos 1800s. During that moment, all I heard from him were exclamations of wonder: "WOW!" “WOW!” “WOW!!!" followed by disbelief, as he exclaimed, "This can't be real... it’s impossible to improve what you've had!” 😆

Since the 1800s departed, I’ve been struggling to reconnect with the existing gears.

I find myself wondering how the intriguing Goldmund pieces could seamlessly blend into this room’s architecture. How can I possibly fund such a vision? To help with bringing the vision to reality, I’ve decided to try my luck with a $30 million jackpot tomorrow—fingers crossed!

In the interim,, Dan from A2A shared a stunning photographic concept illustrating how the Goldmund items could beautifully fit into the space. I love how prominently they now enhance the room’s aesthetic!

Just one more sleep before that slipik might finally invite them home earlier.

You can't go wrong with Flagship Accuphase. Both the C3900 and PS1250 will serve you for many years. My PS1230 is nearly 10 years old, and to date no passive filter with a premium price tag like Shunyata could match it, nor could the PS Audio power generator or Isotek gear. If there were any, you would see my upgrade path. So enjoy them.

You could have spoken to me about the C3900, though. My plan was to upgrade to Goldmund, similar to the Accuphase DAC and transport, which are on offer. 😊

Regardless, I hope you are satisfied with them, and it is great to hear you are not having panic attacks like with the C2900 series. 👌

Didn't realize you were selling your c3900, I was under the impression you were only upgrading the Gryphons.

Haha, it took me a while to adjust to just how much more detail the C2900 provided compared to the integrated.

So my new ergonomic chair is coming, a compliment from my other half in response to my commitment that there will be no further upgrade to electronics.

IMG_1444.jpeg

So I said yes to secure it. 🤣

I am offering my current chair to a local friend, free of charge. You need to organise the pickup and your own logistics. I have a bad back since carrying the Goldmund, so I will be unable to help with moving.

Great chair, very comfortable, I’ve had this brand for a few years now and it’s still like new. I had some family over at Christmas and there were many comments on how comfortable the chair is, made the music even better, enjoy when you get it!

Yes! Definitely comfortable when I tried it at the store. The side table is another $750!!😳
Fortunately for me, I didn't have to pay for it, so it's nothing but comfortable when it comes to funding it.
