Yes back! I'm still amazed at your previous Magico's top notch performance - both measurement and subjective. I still haven't recovered from how good they were and now you have the flagship !? Wow, Amazing.

I’m glad you like the S5s! The M7s will be different in every aspect.

Send me your QoBuz playlist, Sean. You can check it for yourself with those familiar tracks when you are here.

Indeed, I was also mistaken. Regardless, let us proceed. They will not be welcome back, and they are aware of their identity from reading this.

Now back to our enjoyment, a selected Torbek runrig, as we discussed in last gtg, awaits you and @mtf @Midori in the near future. 🥳

Now you got my attention. 😍😍😍 as if I need this to tempt me! lol. Will have to wait till after the school term mate.

Recently, I have gained personal experience with Wadax electronics through my interactions with A2A and Andrea. Their performance is exceptionally well-regarded. Previously, I did not give them much consideration due to their limited availability and extremely $$$. At that time, the distributor was not A2A, but rather a friend from who resides in Northshore and owns waterfront property. His name is Peter Vo, if you have ever had the pleasure of doing business with him in Sydney. The lesson I learned is to refrain from experimenting with audiophile-grade electronics if there is a risk of financial strain. One cannot guarantee the accuracy of the audio experience, and once an appreciation for it has been established, it can be challenging to revert to a previous state.

Currently, my search has led me to a state of heightened uncertainty. The multitude of options available, such as MSB Cascade or Sentinel, presents a daunting challenge.

It was yet another morning where I found myself waking up far too late. Our previous discussion revolved around content insurance, which led us down a rabbit hole of terms like insanity, stupidity, and idiocy—particularly when it comes to how audiophiles are viewed by the outside world.

Personally, I think "insanity" is the perfect word to describe our spending habits. I’ve owned a couple of sets of speakers that definitely fall into the category of extravagant madness. But then there's this guy in the photo, who takes insanity to a whole new level! His approach to audio gear reveals an entirely different kind of recklessness.

Very strange! It looks like he bought the base model in the range then upgraded twice but couldn't bear to part the first two.

Obviously by the view of the stairwell he lives in an apartment and leaves his front door open to allow everyone else in the block to 'enjoy'

You possess an exceptional aptitude for analysis, G. I am curious if legal studies are your chosen profession.

No, .... I'm just a cynical old fart!

Raidho heaven, that would be some room to visit.

I'm guessing he's selling the Raidho range.

Those TD6 speakers are some of the most incredible and capable speakers I've heard bar none.

Extremely transparent so setup and what you feed them with is very important but get it right and you will hear the tiniest pin drop and be rewarded with sound quality very few speakers can reach.

I will be amazed if the Bladelius sounds better than the Accuphase / Gryphon combo - but you never know 🤔😊

So far, to my ears, while I am distracted by business calls, it is not anywhere near. Maybe it needs to warm up?

It does look quite stood over by those two big burly Gryphons right by its shoulders... !!

Thank you, @AdrianRa, for providing the souvenir logos to enhance the room’s ambiance to resemble a dealer’s establishment. However, please note that nothing for sale at this time.

Not really. He is just like us “audiphole”. A local example is Brodric, who owns all the models of Magico speakers, as well as speakers from Wilson. He has the Q3s, S3s, M3s, and A3s. At any given time, there are usually two or even three sets of speakers in his home! 🤣

I am very grateful to have had the chance to listen to these insane speakers. What hits you first is the resolution and the scale. If these speakers sound so good now, how will they be when they will be fully run in? I hope I will get another chance to sit a bit more in the sweet spot with music that I am familiar with. Thank you Chanh!

For the record I should admit I am getting another pair of WHT speakers though they are for the pool room... 🤗

I know a guy in Noranda who has spent $120k on his room treatment alone.

He has 9 sets of speakers set up, and equipment racks go along whole (long) side of the room. All hooked up and selectable, depending on what music he is listening.

Most of the speakers are iconic, with Wilson's probably his favourites, because he also has Wilson 11+3  Home Theater setup.

But is he happy? 😉

he has the perfect chairs to listen to music. I wonder what they are.

Hi No that’s not them at all

I actually owned one and it was not at all good for listening

his chairs are shoulder height which is best for listening ( ie nothing behind your head so the sound passes behind)

Oh, now I understand what you mean. I have two of the cheaper versions from Harvey Norman in the room. They were on special for $150 each and are the grey ones on either side.

Hey @AccMagi7s they look stellar and I’m sure they do sound it too.

I’m curious though, as to why your listening position is basically on the back wall. I’d have thought your positioning would have strong early reflections from the rear wall which would result in comb filtering which often impacts detail and soundstage. You’re also more likely to have an unbalanced bass response sitting too close to a boundary.

maybe the picture doesn’t reflect the actual situation but I’d be trying to sit a little more into the room (at least 1m in) before locking the majestic m7s in place permanently.

anyway, I was in Perth yesterday but was flat out seeing a potential acquisition target. Next time

I’m in town I’d love a listen if you’re up for it. I’m going to go totally over the top in my next house and it would be good to see how the m7s perform in a real home so I can see if they start on the audition list.
