Debut album of the Dutch/New Zealand singer-songwriter, who wrote "Farewell To The Gold" which was beautifully covered by Nic Jones, who also features on this many songs on this album, probably for the final time on record before his horrific RTA in 1982. Due to the exposure given to this song he emigrated to the UK in 1980 and released 5 albums, all of which are very good indeed. He then more or less retired from music and began making artisan board games.

 

Anyway "Farewell To The Gold" is on this album and this guy can play.

Seriously fab pressing......and you can admire my "Nightmare Before Christmas" Jack Skellington 💀

(Nightmare Before Christmas) - expected him to be the standard white faced model , you don't know which you have in the Soda Tin (hence why it is called "the Chase" ) 😂

 

So not sure if I got lucky or not - seeing I really wanted the standard one - but he is the sought after one apparently 😂
