Luc
Have had some regrettable LP deliveries that arrived in pizza boxes they aren't strong enough to stop the stupidity of postal delivery people who will stack stuff on your pizza box. The stiff cardboard and strong tape is a good one but go the extra mile and make it three bits of stiff cardboard and take the LP out of it's cover so there is no chance of sliding or seam split. Townsville is big enough to have a recycling centre I'd imagine run by the council and there you will find more cardboard boxes than you can poke a stick at. Short of that just go to your local Hardly Normal store and get boxes of them to cut up, cheaper than mailers too.

audiofeline
...The stiff cardboard and strong tape is a good one but go the extra mile and make it three bits of stiff cardboard... When you use layers of cardboard rotate each sheet so that the corrugations in each layer go in alternate directions.
