  • Damn good idea Prof. There really are some super cheesy, sleazy avatars that remind me of what was considered OK in the 60's,when women were regarded only as cooks and sex objects.   I love the fema

It's pretty simple really. Over time SNA has evolved and there is a growing focus on making it safe for work and family friendly.    That means avatars reminiscent of the calendars some members had

As a transgender, Ginger, vegan, Buddhist that used to be lesbian but know likes men, femi-nazi, former atheist who found God and sees no need for vaccinations, I find everything offensive and request that you shut down this thing known as the interwebs.

Apologies for child nudity btw.

Took the cue to update mine, kept freaking me out seeing my smiling face staring back at me all the time.

Just checked mine....... Yep! Perfection!

Bonus points for the GG Allin beanie. That alone would offend most... You sir, appear to be made of sterner stuff than that...

Methinks they had you as a prime candidate for sanitising !  :P

Stay tuned folks for default avatar.

Besides that selfy pic is how many years old?

If you could count maybe you could enlighten the members, cause I can't.

Hmmm, that's a tough one !!!  post-116153-0-54132600-1463651728.jpg

Interesting that as soon as someone changes theirs I forget what it used to be almost immediately.

It's either some fascinating hitherto undocumented psycho-cognitive visual cortex-centric retrieval phenomenon...

OK guys, this thread has gone way past the original message posted by the Prof. I will therefore repeat his message and close the thread.

"My we are an inventive and often whimsical lot on SNA. Many of us put a lot of thought into our on-line SNA avatars however...

Can we please remind people of the forum guidelines, if you wouldn't be happy having your partner/child/mother seeing the avatar that you have chosen then please reflect that someone else's mother/child/partner will also be looking. Individual avatars may be clever and funny but some of them cost us visitors and users to the site as not everyone appreciates your taste or humour. This is not a call for bland characterless avatars but rather a request to review your choice and if in doubt check with us or just change it.

Otherwise the mods will do it, and we'd actually rather people changed their own.

Thanks"
