  3. Further information: Headphone purchased a year and a half ago and is in good condition with only the headband clamps showing noticable wear. Included are many accessories I have bought over that time to tinker with the sound and comfort: - Travel Case (Included Stock) - MrSpeakers DUM 2m cable 1/4 (Included Stock) - MrSpeakers VIVO 2m cable XLR - MrSpeakers Voce Earpads Tuning Filters - ZMF Universe Lambskin Earpads - Female XLR to 4.4" pentaconn adaptor - Female XLR to 3.5mm adaptor This is one of my favourite sounding headphones with excellent detail and a full midrange. It's also really comfortable but unfortunately they get way too hot for me in my unairconditioned room in the Australian summer heat. I have tried with suede and perforated pads but they muck up the sound way too much. I hope this wonderful headphone goes to a good home! PM me if you have any questions or want more info about how these sound (would allow auditions if the current situation in NSW was different). 4. Item: Mr Speakers Aeon Flow Closed headphone Location: Altona (VIC) Price: $800 Item Condition: used, as new Reason for selling: not using anymore, upgrade Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: As new condition, used very occasionaaly here in there for maybe a week of use in total. All original packaginf, case, cable and certificate of authenticity. Purchased from A2A in Kew at the end of July 2017 for $1,099 (still same price), so still on warranty and I have receipt for it. https://www.mrspeakers.com/headphones-14/aeon.html Highly praised headphone for what it offers in it's category, personally I do really like everything about it - sound, comfort, design, weight and ability to actually be the only portable in it's category (Oppo PM3 would be another portable planar, but nowhere near Aeon in audion quality and comfort departments) - I never had a heart to actually take it on the train or anything like that - always at home and alwats stored in its case. Selling as end up using Eikon as my daily closed driver. More info here - https://www.innerfidelity.com/content/mrspeakers-aeon-over-ear-sealed-planar-magnetic-headphones Pickup from Altona (VIC) or can post anywhere in Australia. Priced to sell quick and non-negotiable, no trade ins. Pictures:

  7. Hi there, up for sale is a pair of mint condition Dan Clark Audio (a.k.a 'MrSpeakers') Aeon Flow Open planar-magnetic headphones. I'm the only owner of these, having bought them directly from their San Diego Factory while visiting in early 2019 (Dan is a lovely guy, BTW). They're in perfect cosmetic and operating condition having been babied like all the rest of my gear. It will be sold with the full retail packaging and all accessories including: - Retail Box - Hard clamshell portable case - 3 x tuning inserts to give different 'EQ' flavours to the sound - Microfibre polishing cloth - Certificate of authenticity - I will be selling with 2 x upgrade cables: a 4-pin XLR cable (worth $100USD), and the 'Vivo' silver plated OFHC copper 3.5mm upgrade cable (worth $299 USD) I've enjoyed my time immensely with these cans, they're quite literally the most comfortable audiophile headphones in existence with their exquisite pads, light weight, and terrific suspension-strap + Nitinol memory wire headband system. The sound signature is warm, inviting, with terrific planar bass extension and slam. I can say with confidence that they're very much the upgrade to the Sennheiser HD650 sound, with great technicalities. I'm looking to consolidate my collection some, and I'm looking to replace a few headphones with the HD800s, as I prefer a detailed, treble-oriented signature. Let me know if you have any questions, these will make a great all-rounder for anyone looking to get into planars or who appreciates an inviting, warm sound signature. 9. Further information: Make and Model – MrSpeakers Ether C Flow Closed Back Headphones - 1.1 Upgrade - XLR Cable - I won’t try and sell these any further because I assume if you’re planning on spending this amount on a pair of cans that you know what you’re talking about; and - Spent a couple of hours on my head Background: After seemingly losing my Bose QC25 Headphones (they were behind the couch) I went on a search for a replacement and discovered Hi-Fi. However, sitting in shops for hours on end for testing wasn't working. I decided to buy (when on sale so I didn't lose too much on the resell) and do AB testing at home to find the sound signature that I liked the most, both for an everyday/out and about pair and a high-end at home pair of headphones, along with associated DAC/amps. This process has lasted approximately a year and I'm now selling off most of what I have. Sound: None of what I'm selling are in and of themselves poor performers. If I'm selling any set of headphones or DAC/amps it's because I prefer a different sound signature. Condition: I've done the hard yards and all headphones and amps I'm selling on StereoNet have been burnt in for at least 50 hours. For the most part the burn in process has occurred when playing throughout the day when I'm at work, rather than on my head (no comment on whether burn is a thing or not). Naturally they've all spent a number of hours on my head but have all been wiped down as per the manufacturer's instructions and are in essentially new condition unless stated otherwise under the make and model below. I cannot claim to be able to re-wrap/pack cables as good as those in the factory, and some items plastic protective films have been removed, but I can't remember those that have. They may have minor amounts of dust present no matter how hard I tired with physical and air dusters. Shipping: Is not included in the price unless stated otherwise or any negotiations take place. If you choose to pick up directly, the price is the price and there will be no drop due to the item not having been posted (unless stated otherwise). Shipping is just within Australia. For express post items I can't guarantee next day delivery due to my working hours, but I will endeavour to get them to you ASAP. Photos: Advertisements without photos of the actual item will not be approved.
  10. 11. Further information: I bought it from Addicted to Audio at Newtown January 2020. RRP and information can be view at DCA MrSpeakers or minidisc.com.au. Addicted to Audio are no longer have DCA (MrSpeakers) https://www.minidisc.com.au/mrspeakers-ether-2 It doesn't have DCA VIVO cable, but have a custom made cable termination 4pin XLR. (2m) I lost the DCA VIVO cable because I use as portable at work. ( Cable show in photos ) When I bought it only came with one headphones pads which is the none perforated. The headphones pads set ( perforated and suede ) check on DCA MrSpeakers website for prices and info about the sound difference on the headphone pads. https://www.danclarkaudio.com/ether-2-suede-and-perforated-pads.html It is with perforated pads at the moment. To me is the best sounding out of them three types. Information of the difference between pads also on the official DCA MrSpeakers website. Open for offers Thanks for reading! Very nice scratch free carbon fiber cups! The Hard Case is also including which they never came with it in drop.com. Hard Case alone worth around $60 USD without Shipping from USA. I prefer Pick up (Sydney), but can do shipping with agreed price. 13. Item: SOLD Burson Soloist SL Solid State Headphone Amplifier and MrSpeakers Mad Dog 3.2 Planar Magnetic Headphones (Professional T50RP Mod) with Alpha Pads Location: Glen Waverley or Richmond, Victoria Price: Mad Dog 3.2: $200 (RRP: $399), Burson Soloist SL: $450 (RRP: $650), Combined: $600 (RRP: $1049) Item Condition: Very Good Reason for selling: Upgraded to T1 and TH900. Need to recoup cash. Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only Extra Info: An amazing combination and one of the best mid-fi setups ever. This is a quote of how I described them to other Head-Fi members. Having owned the HD580 (upgraded to HD600 grill and ZY Cable) and Philips X1, tried the Beyers DT770 and DT990... I can say that the Mad Dog 3.2 is THE best mid-fi headphone I've ever heard by a considerable margin. I found a good synergy with the Burson Soloist SL amp allowing for treble sparkle AND a sufficiently good bass hit. Drums in particular sounded like drums and not some synthesized bass hit. Everything else sounded great too but the drums was a standout for me. Pictures: Coming soon.
