I see truth in advertising still hasn't made it to China :D Try it on the Crowd Pleaser, it might magically turn it into Garrard 301...

Any suggestions as to where to get a good pot from? T2 as well?

The best teapot I've ever owned - the Bredemeijer Cosy Manto Teapot

Might be too late, but, when your there have a look for some of these Tetsubin's (Japanese teapot).

Cast iron, something of substance. Also if you drop it, it won't break - the pot at least, won't talk about the broken foot!

NFA

Sorry it was too late NFA, so I went to T2 today and got no love what so ever, walking around looking like a dumbass and no one wanted to help me, so I walked out...still on the look for a nice pot and some nice tea's I started running out of idea's and now that I remember I should have gone to DJ's oh well I can grab some teas from there on the weekend....Anyhoo I did get a pot and some different tea's. I got a pot and a air proof container for main tea...here are the results...

I really enjoy a good pot of tea.Tea bags are for Phillistines I reckon.

I like big full flavoured teas like Asam[the Shiraz of teas?]Some Kenyan tea is great too-more full flavoured than Ceylon.I buy Safari brand Kenyan tea from an Indian Grocer in Perth which is almost as good as Twinnings Assam.

I got a good one from T2 the other day it was a three tin pack Morning, Arternoon and Night tea! Very nice!

ive recently been a convert to chai tea.

not that horrible chai latte crap you get at coffee places.

but proper chair tea.

t2 does a good one

Hmmm, away for a little while and so much to catch up on.

However I thought I would first post a pic of my gongfu tea set for the puer and darker oolong teas. Makes a very big difference to both the taste and the experience.

And while I am on the topic I will show you the Puer tea I am currently drinking. A 1998 from the Menghei factory, with the wrapper in Red Mark style from the masterpiece vintages of earlier last century. I had great pleasure converting a colleague to Puer tea last week in Hong Kong. Most satisfying.

Nice setup there Mustud. Very ceremonial.

Cheers,

Jake

Nice one indeed mustard, but where does the milk and sugar go? tee hee.

Have you ever been to the Teapot Exhibition at Morpeth in the Hunter Valley?

A good excuse to pick up S/H vinyl and also, just up the road, a couple of cases of plonk.

Sounds like something those folk who have "weekends" would do, sounds great though. Maybe in a years time I might make it.

I also have a new fav, T2 "Afternoon Tea" supurb!

I've been looking for a new way to enjoy my puer tea and think I have stumbled across something. Might catch on.

Gees just when I was contemplating sampling some of that tea , You go an park that on the kitchen bench , What tea .

Definitely a tea drinker myself. I don't drink much coffee, but I drink lots of tea.

I am about to give up the coffee full stop and become a full time tea drinker. About to give up the smokes so I can afford more hifi and in order to do that coffee must go also.

Denny gives up coffee , whats next Denny gives up guns. dang who ya gunna shoot now

Denny is going to build an atomic bomb in Ned Tuckett instead of drinking coffee!

How much fun would it be to blow up a country!
