We've been through the Tanqueray period with respect to our G&T's and moved on to Plymouth. Much better.

Unfortunately, Plymouth is a little hard to find. However, it is imported into Australia by Maxxim so any bottle-o can order it.......

.....so we buy our gin by the six pack. Six 700mL bottles of Plymouth typically last us about a year.

Well - I did as suggested - bought a bottle of Tanqueray, and upped the ratio. Have to admit, I prefer this brand - and the previous comment that it isn't as 'floral' as Bombay Sapphire; this is a much cleaner taste. I like.

I'm sure it would be cheaper (and considerably more comfortable than the confines of the folks' house!) to just ...buy a bottle :eek: In any case, I do believe I'm quite soused. Always a good thing, and it calls for another drink! I'll kill this liver while I've got the the opportunity
