Some nice vintage speakers there, well done!

Great stuff. Which sound do you prefer?

Leaning more towards the DM3 for vocal clarity for now. Have yet to play different genres other than Christmas tunes in the last few days...hohoho

They must sound great. Excellent way to work out the sound that suits you!

Good way to do things ... however! (There's always a 'however'! 😄 )

Before you finalise your choice ... is there any way you can borrow a more powerful amplifier to listen to the spkrs with?

The specs I found say that your Sansui 771 is only 32w into 8 ohms - so not very powerful. If any of those spkrs drop to 4 ohms or below ... the 771 won't be very happy driving them. ☹️

Love the vintage speaker vibe. These are all decent speakers that should be enjoyed. I have an old pair of AWM speakers that are so capable. Love them, I think the model is the A440 but I'm not sure. Anyway, keep the vintage love happening. And like @andyr said, get a beefier amp to see what these things can do. M
