Will Studd has a new cheese series, it's fascinating!

Will focusses mainly on raw milk cheesemaking around the globe. A few Australian cheese makers are now allowed to make raw milk varieties but only as a hard types.

If you've had the good fortune of indulging in raw milk cheeses in France you'll be familiar with the extra level of flavour this achieves!

< We’re thrilled to announce that Long Paddock Cheese has won a GOLD medal at the prestigious Mondial du Fromage competition in Tours, France, for our Banksia cheese!

This is a huge milestone for our team, with Banksia—our semi-hard cow’s milk cheese—taking top honours in the heart of cheesemaking. Crafted in the style of traditional French alpine cheeses, this win feels extra special.

But that’s not all—our Bluestone, a Stilton-style blue, also earned a BRONZE medal! We’re the only Aussie cheesemaker to be recognized this year.

This success wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team—from our organic dairy farmers to our cheesemakers who pour their passion into every batch, to those who care for the cheese and send them to our customers When we started Long Paddock Cheese in 2021, our vision was to create world-class, French-style cheeses using local Victorian milk. We’re so proud to see this dream recognised internationally. >

regards Ian

Long Paddock do make some very tasty dairy products and I think they are good value even if expensive.
