Bro, I remember you were using iphone? Why suddenly switch to Pixel 4a?

This is my spare phone...sold off my Huawei Mate 20X. Missed the Pixel phone experience and the fuss free photography of a Pixel phone. I will be using the Pixel 4a for a while because it comes with fingerprint sensor. Unlike iPhone that only feature Face Unlock, it is really a PITA that I need to key in my passcode everytime I use to the face mask. Nobody knows when this mandatory mask wearing thing will end...so I figure go for Pixel phone to tie over this period. My thumb will thank me for that. LoL.

The greatest challenge is to get my WhatsApp chat history from my iPhone to the Pixel. Fortunately I managed to find a way to get it imported nicely.

Why not the iPhone SE which doesnt cost much more? It is touchid and should be easier to tie you through the transition from your previous iphone. You were using XS Max right?

I'm using iPhone 11 pro max as my primary driver for almost 5 mths now. Like I say, iPhone interface is nothing fanciful and since I'm already using iOS as my daily driver. I decide to switch to Android for awhile with the arrival of a budget friendly Pixel phone. May also get the Pixel 5 (also a mid ranger) when it comes out later in Oct. So far, I have to relearn my finger memory muscles for a smaller screen estate of the Pixel 4a.

I'm a phone OS-agnostic guy. Love the simplicity of iOS and it's flourishing ecosystem and at the same time loving the customization of an Android phone. Best of both worlds.

So that when my more expensive iPhone down, I can quickly switch to Android phone with ease.

Bro, you are really tech-savvy, guess not many like you who can switch from iPhone to Android easily.

I almost forget just how good Pixel camera is...an effortless point-and-shoot. No editing at all...what you see is what you get. Very impressive.

No introduction needed for the camera’s quality output. Hopefully, the hardware quality control has improved over previous models. :)

It's a mid range chipset but Google managed to optimize it well. Buttery smooth performance on Android 11...support for 3 yrs of OS update. Very very rare for Pixel phone.

Lai hoot liao mai tu ah  ;D ;D

Wait later for tonight unveiling of Pixel 5...rumour to cost about S$900+...and sport the same design as Pixel 4a but with slightly better specs like dual camera and 5G. There will be a 5G variant for Pixel 4a as well...likely gonna release concurrently with Pixel 5 later this month.
