A good grinder is much more important than the espresso machine itself, although a good machine does make a difference. Welcome to the Coffee Club.😀

Of course your humour helps too, e.g. large footprint—ha! My Izzo is 560mm square. And I'm sure you meant Simply Coffee (not Simply Energy😆). I was a patron there for a while and then moved house. Nice people.

Yes, Simply Coffee, just down the Parade from where I live.  My bad (Simply Energy appears in my life about once a week :( ).

The grinder cost a bit, and the machine was quite reasonable ($1150).

Compared to my in-built miele (saeco), I can do milk froth in a fraction of the time.  And, The grinder is so much finer, enabling the long pour when it is right.

It is good fun, and I have avoided those 'bitter' coffees that need to be drowned out by milk.

If bitter is really not your thing I highly recommend ristrettos—regular grind but pull the shot short at about 20 seconds for 20 ml.

Caffeine is very bitter and extracts more slowly than the flavour so a restricted shot (ristretto) has most of the flavour and less caffeine.

Just got notification that my Weber Key grinder is about to be shipped out. Has been a very long wait.
Still will be interested to see how it compares to the Weber EG-1 and the Lagom P-100.
At the moment the Weber EG-1 has the ULF burrs in it and been used purely for pour over, so may swap them over to the core burrs and test them all for both espresso and pour overs

Initial impressions are very good. Not what you would expect from a conical grinder. Offers a clean cup with decent flavour separation, but not as good as the EG-1 or P100.
Its very early days yet, but i think it may be a keeper
