Waz86
Did they charge you postage as a result of the cancellation? .... this may be what they want ppl to do and why they are holding onto QOS so they can then gouge for not being a $50 order. What's the bet the $10 comes off the title you canceled.I wonder if the forum should approach them for some online banner ads? LOL!! Well that better not happen or Ill cancel, return both and demand a refund. Body of Lies has been shipped and when I cancelled QOS the following changed sub-Total: $37.88 Standard Shipping: Free! Discount Coupons (TENFISH) : $-10.00 Total: $27.51 My CC has been charged like $31 which is what I was paying orignally for Body Of Lies, the total of both was like $62. Even if they do charge postage ill make sure I still get the $10 off so it should work out about $30 anyway. Haha i wanted to cancel body of lies this morning but it had already shipped :-( I dont think its really worth a purchase on Blu.. oh well.. ssschen
Just a gentle reminder, there is a thread created here to share your fishpond success/failure stories. Let's leave this thread for genuine blu-ray bargains.
PKK
It is better to grap QoS and one other <$40 Bluray for $60 from DSE. Those 2 for $60 doesn't sound much of a bargain first but if you can find some recent releases you like but not in the JB B2G1F deal, $30 a disc is pretty good value indeed. BTW my QoS order from fishpond is still in the "Item Scanned at Shelf Location" stage. Not much hope of watching it this weekend. Mine too - oh well, it;s worth it to know not to order off them again .... Burn Direct are the only online retailer that have done worse by me. DaveS1503559522
I took the cue from another post and picked up QoS and Pinocchio today from DSE's. Ditto, but my local had Pinocchio stickered at $42.xx. Got that checked and it scanned at $39.xx so if anyone sees something they want as part of the deal but it's stickered over $40 get the price checked just in case! cbrendan1503562159
Would love to hear what people think of the Pinocchio remaster as the two titles below are starting to look tempting Watched 5 min of tonight and its amazing. Its one of the best looking animation titles i've seen, and that's saying a lot considering i have cars/ ratatouille etc. I know I've been sucked in by the 'out of the vault for a limited time' Disney marketing. But as long as they keep putting out releases of the quality of sleeping beauty / Pinocchio, I'll happily fork out 30-40 each time.

I went to one of the DSEs not that far from me today, and found Pinocchio stickered at that price. But, unlike you, I just gave up and walked out. That, and I couldn't find QOS anyway so I walked away majorly pissed off!
broadbean
I found QoS, but had to ask for Pinocchio, which was behind their music counter. I think the stickered price was under $40 however. Is Wall.E still over $30? If so, might try and find another title with it to get another 2 for $60 deal. Sleeping Beauty would be nice.

ssschen
excellent....time to do some shopping then.... Not sure if it is appropriate to post here or not about this. But since we are all movie lovers, I am sure there will be some interested parties here. Just received an invite email from ChannelNews to a free screening for Nicholas Cage's "Knowing" at "Cinema 9, Hoyts Broadway, Level 2 Broadway Shopping Centre" on 23/03 at 06:30pm. It is an invite to Admit Two, only 220 tickets available, if interested send me a PM and I will pass on the email for you to send the RSVP to. I don't live in Melbourne or Sydney but I believe Broadway is in Sydney? Edited March 20, 2009 by sschen

broadbean
Black Hawk Down ticketed for $19.48 at Dick Smiths (PowerHouse) Moore Park, Sydney. They are also selling the 5 pack that usually come with Sony BD players for $135, making it $27 each. Maybe you could haggle them down a bit if you're buying something else. From memory, it comes with Ghost Rider, Open Season, Black Hawk Down, Rambo and Casino Royale.
ELK007
I have boycotted Fishpond, they are useless IMOQOS still hasnt been shipped and retail stores were selling this on Monday! Called JB at Hornsby just then and they have it for $31.93 and there is no BIGW in the centre! Cancelled my QOS with Fishpond and im picking it up at JB instead. Too bad for me they had already shipped body of lies or I would of cancelled that aswell because I didnt really want it. Hi All For all those who want QoS at the Big W price of $31.93; you can order it online at the Big W site and get free shipping by entering code: HOMEENT09 Ordered mine today! Very handy because I don't have a Big W anywhere near me!!
