  1. Further information: Original purchaser of these great electrostatics. Original transport cartons and all internal packaging is available along with manuals. Only switched on occasionally for a short listen and to charge their panels otherwise they stand in my listening room, covered in their ML transport covers. Their panels are also vacuumed regularly. Only 190 to 200 hours on them at the most - they are essentially in new condition. RRP at time of purchase was $22,500. Photos:
  2. Further information: USA built speakers. Don't be put off by their different shape/size, as in use their sound is quality is outstanding (not for headbangers though). I have owned these since since new and they are perfect, both cosmetically and operationally. They come in their original packaging. Their custom built stands are extremely solid and heavy with spikes. The pillars can be filled with lead shot/sand. A local sale is more practical as there are no boxes for the stands Photos:
  3. Further information: Original purchaser of this two box, reference class hybrid linestage - current valves in PSU are essentially new from Lamm (cost A$1,192.35) . Also included is the full set of original valves which still have many hundreds of hours of life left in them. The unit has been rotated with various other pre-amplifiers, but has quite easily remained the finest sounding pre-amplifier in my system until the release of the Lamm LL1.1 Signature. Operationally dead quiet. Comes in their factory wooden crates with manual. Lamm doesn't do remote controls. Purchase cost was A$24,500
  4. Further information: Purchased these from the Australian Distributor - 220/240 volts, Fifteen (15) W 300B single ended triode purity. Have the original boxes, packaging and manual. Replaced the the two pairs of stock 6SL7 valves with a matched pairs of NOS JAN RCA VT229 valves from Brent Jessee Recording and Supply ($375). Also will supply a new matched pair of unused EAT 300B valves (pictured in amps) which I had as spares - these are new valves which now have a RRP of in excess of $2,500. These are the last version of these amplifiers (series 3) designed by Dennis Had. The speaker terminals
  5. Further information: Mobile Fidelity #MFSL 2 - 013. Long since out of print. Recorded in 1978 and pressed in Japan on JVC Super Vinyl. Double live album with gatefold cover. Outer sleeve is showing a little wear which can be seen in the photos. Vinyl is in pretty well mint condition, but rated as mint minus as it is not a sealed copy. New plastic outer sleeve and cleaned in a KLA Audio Ultrasonic RCM KL200. Photos:
  6. @Tax Lamm Reference L2 is a linestage only and doesn’t have a built in phonostage.
  7. Surprised no mention of PS Audio Stellar Phono Preamplifier - Stereophile Product of the Year 2020 with remote control of - on-off/mute/MM-MC/gain/loading & custom loading - very fine but, (in my opinion) bettered by the less expensive Tim De Paravincini EAR Yoshino Phonobox for sound quality..............and then there is the Lamm LP2.1 Deluxe. The latter two are valve based of course.

Recorded 1972 and pressed in 1981 in Japan, with gatefold cover, Vinyl is pretty well mint condition, but as it is not sealed it must be rated Mint -. 10. To move forwards in my opinion would be to hear and consider a Lamm pre-amplifier in the system....................I have personally found that very little is as all consuming and enjoyable as Lamm + Lamm. Have used various Lamms (SETs) for more that 20 years and never experienced any particular "valvey" issues....................Lamm recommends replacement of certain valves from time to time and provided you follow their recommendations you should not expect to have any issues.
