It's a Philips errr yellow thing double cassette and radio !!!

 

Pretty disappointing really after my elder brother had gotten a cool black panasonic boombox for Christmas the previous year and I had to share this yellow thing with my brother..... feign smile and thank you.....

My dad had a Hitachi receiver so when it came to buy my first system I went for a Hitachi mini system.

 

Then when CD players were available I got a Sony like the one below (could not believe how much better it was at the time :))
