Pioneer Kureo PDP LX608A Plasma

Recommended Posts

Item: Pioneer Kureo PDP LX608A Plasma SOLD

Location: Southside Brisbane

Price: SOLDpick up only

Item Condition: good condition and working well.

When I bought this tv 12 months ago the side attachable speakers had never been out of their boxes and they sound freaking AWESOME.

A couple of times when trying to get the rest of my stereo system going, I had been listening to music and then eventually realized the sound was coming from the tv and not my main stereo system, they are that good!  there are no dead pixels or issues with the screen image or the tv to my knowledge. hard to beat for watching free to air tv for sports etc also would make a good gaming screen for 1080p resolution. this model had the onboard tuner. these 60" plasma screens where worth $10,000 in their day and for good reason, they where the best tv bar none in the world at the time.

Reason for selling: time for change

Payment Method: Pickup - Cash, Paypal, COD Only

Extra Info: pick up would be easiest, you will need two strong people, it is very heavy and you won't slide it into the back or front of a sedan, you will need a ute or van   this tv comes with a wall mount but no stand. comes with a full manual

I have the 50” Kuro and know how bulky and heavy they are. I have a wagon but will probably need to use the trailer if I were to transport the TV down.

I’ll probably know within a week if I’ll be flying or driving.

Edit: it’s a shame too, as I think I may still have the original packaging for the 50”

guys keep in mind that the panel should travel upright not flat...

although I safely transported my last acquisition a great LX608 flat, glass up on a bed of yoga mats (in an Audi suv) that was for a short distance... driving like an 80 yrs old man....

To transport  my other LX609 I preferred to build an half roadcase  style plywood box padded with polystyrene and yoga mats plus few layers of bubble wrap to protect the front glass..

I borrowed a van from a friend and carefully strapped the case to the side of the van.. definitely 2 guys are necessary, these tv are HEAVY and quite fragile... don't risk..

good luck with the sale, the 608 if well looked after  is an amazing tv.. I personally  prefer it over lcd or oled any day

Interested parties should note that the on board tuner will not display FTA HD channels that have since switched to MPEG4........( a victim of its own longevity!!!!

Easily fixed by purchasing an external more current model HD STB @ less than $50.B)

A FANTASTIC BARGAIN regardless!!!!!:)

GLWTS
