Sorry Lonewolf,

Never saw that post till now about the extra crt. It cost me about $300 for the sparky to run but he also did extra GPO at the same time. Good value I thought.

That sounds very cheap as i got the impression it would cost me close to a grand.

Rotel , Nad still available.

I will put the Cary Cinema 11 back up for sale as its still in the box and i havent even used it yet.

Ever thought you might need to be a bit more drastic with your pricing? You have had them for sale for 2 years now.

Might be time for separate threads.

Am I right is saying that only the last one does Lossless Audio from BD?

yep

Lonewolf has 2 carys Bryan. To clarify a bit ;the 11a which decodes lossless and the 11 which is on offer and takes lossless through the multianalogs . Virtually the same pre pro except for 2x hdmi and the decoding .

It would be a great match with a certain universal bd player with ess dacs and certainly with the standalone audyssey unit that lucmor is selling ;)

True,

Although If you look at my bumping, I am hopeless at it. I have seen many other people sell the same products just due to better habits with bumping and keeping at it.

I should probably try ebay but i just havent sold anything on it before and i guess i always preferred the forums for that.

Yes, but a new Integra would only be a little bit more.

True, plus the Integra will have video processing to some degree and a whole host of other features.

The Carys are only about the Audio. But for sound quality I will put the carys up against almost any other product out there.

I did a evaluation of the Cary a while back, find it in the review section.

Al, that was a while ago. Cary have released two models since you did the review of the Cinema 11 - the 11a and the 12 - although much remains common, including the Cirrus chip, I agree with Lonewolf - the sound is excellent - good enough for me to put up with the 2s delay when selecting songs. I do not have any of the other issues that people have flagged over time. I am going to upgrade my 11a when I move into my new house and HT shortly.

My evaluation was on the c11 which is what lonewolf has said he is selling here. I thought might be relevant to anyone considering. there are also owners threads on Avs on the 11, 11a and 12 all worth a read for potential buyers :)

Yes, more telling of the path I have taken and my obsession with buttons and vision before audio performance.

I know what you mean, I do miss my first AVR, it was a Onkyo 919, soo many buttons and features to mess around with. I had been contemplating going back to a onkyo processor or one of the older Integras (cant afford the latest ones), But a few people told me that the step down in sound was quite dramatic but they are good for HDMI and all the connections and features. I am scared if i did go down that line, i may regret it if the sound quality was noticeably inferior, I can handle a bit of loss but too much and i might just want to go back. So if i do upgrade, i will probably have to go sideways at the very least and perhaps find a unit which has close to the same sound but a lot more features and things to mess about with.
