Looks great, Sean- I like the colours, the style, the lightbars, and the way the TV doesn't dominate the look.

Are the speakers multi-amped or are there spare ones there on the rack?

Definitely worthy of a photo through a clean lens!!!

Updated photos on original post hopefully better 😊

Had them on high to take pics usually on around 5% to have some light but not too much more mood lighting 😂

Amazing room treatment. 👌

Is there any change or benefit having your listening chair out from the wall behind or does the paneling take care of the reflections?

Hi Thanks 😊 I would like it out a bit further but as I’m married I’m not allowed 😂

Got the Big Boys out today for a listen.

Love these speakers.

Heard mates larger SP200 Spendor speakers recently , a big easy sound especially in the the low end but expected a little more besides their prodominent duff duff within the medium sized room. Not long prior the D9.2 Spendors in the same room offered actually amazing coherence overall , impressive , just bass shy in comparison , however part of the design and rather fine.

Rekon your S100 may have the edge on musicality being more coherant and musical.

Enjoy

Different speakers my friend. These were the last set of big Spendors designed by the man himself before he past. No comparison for what I bought them for.... $30K is ridiculous for the new Spenders and Harbeths imo.

Spendor S100 are very rare here Australia and they will stay with me......

😁

Not my system but for some reason youtube recommended this video to me.

A lovely old school type system with plenty of records.

I’ve had this set up for best part of a year now.

Always wanted to try these latest offerings from PMC and boy do they put a smile on your face. Packs some serious bottom end and punch.

Those high end speaker stands are brilliant! the draws can double up as storage for cables and connectors.
And when you don't need to use them you could have them as side tables.
Whoever came up with the idea is going to be rich!

I think some art on the walls and dimmer lighting would really cozy up the place.

Love those MBLs!

A member here has some ... in a 6 x 11m room. He drives them with a pair of AR 330M tube monoblocs for the mids & tweeters ... and a pair of 2000w Class D monoblocs for the bass modules. They sound marvellous!

Fabulous delivery of large-scale orchestral works! 🙂

The drawers are Country Road bedsides in solid American cherry, bought in the early/Mid 90's, they hold up really well. Their previous life was used as vase and small planter holders, quite stylish really.

The speakers were supposed to reside up in the smaller family room upstairs, where they're probably more suited.

As for the art work, I've got some wonderful sizeable Lithographs and paintings from renowned Aus/NZ artists I collected over the years, they're surrounded by glass, so awkward to hang where they once resided, the TV took precedence.

Trying something a little different for me.

Early thoughts?

Had to move into the smaller room temporarily, I think the Ariston may go today, as with everything just before you sell, sounding as good as it ever has.

I have the same issue!!! Do you think we deep down we are hoarders and our brain is telling us to keep it?
