After 20 slices, I was so sick and could not take anymore... :D

Will try peanut butter tomorrow...:D

I did peanut butter and honey today...only two bits though..washed down with coffee and OJ.

I'm hungry again now!

Cereal every weekday. Quick to prepare and eat and there are some tasty varieties. Have a look out for Crunchola Apple and Blueberry, it's usually in the organic section of supermarkets. A bit healthier than normal cereal (less sugar). But it also comes at a bit of a premium due to it's "organic" nature I suppose.

When I have more time (i.e. weekends) bacon and eggs always go down a treat.

Most days it's a simple homemade muesli- currently oats, pine nuts, dates, almonds and shaved coconut- with Paris Creek natural yoghurt and what passes as "full cream" milk these days. On the side a couple of glasses of water and a short black from Miss Silvia and I'm ready for action!

another fine south aussie product there!

Bear, see if you can get Paris Creek full Cream Milk...it's got lumps of cream and butter milk floating! non homogenised or whatever too so it must be good for us

My breakfast starts with a few cups of brewed tea then closer to lunch time I have my Vita Brits without fail. Mite have a bit of toast after, but only using my home made bread - cut it as thick as you like and use only real 'butter'. Sometimes I will use cheese spread and dried onion flakes on the toast. (try it you'll like it)

Gotta get me a digital camera that looks wonderful JCR

Only one? Ya wimp.

It's almost 11:00AM and I'm on my 4th .

Tried tamping her real hard as you suggested. Yes it works, but here's a nice varient you may like to try. Add a very small amount of cocoa to the grinds. Only the tiniest touch though. :D

Cheers and happy floating away on a sea of caffeine,

Alan R.

I remember them days too. Under 60kg, 27" waist. Drank and ate whatever came my way. Now just a memory. :D

Now the poundage just returns to the scene of the crime. :D

Cheers,

:D:D Rarely time for 2! But now and again I get a blood rush to the head and start grinding again! Cocoa eh? Hmmmm.... best be givin that a go. Floating on a sea of caffeine sounds like my kinda mornin:cool:

Rod the Paris Creek milk is ace (about $6 for 2lt up here:eek:) but still only 4% fat. Proper Jersey milk gets up towards 7-8%. Mmmmm.... fatty.

Hmm....you need more protein methinks

I don't like cereal, and I don't eat much bread. And I need protein in the morning to stop me feeling hungry 10 mins later. So, for me its usually one or a combination of eggs, baked beans, savoury mince, leftover stirfry etc.

This morning was a chicken sausage omellette with home-made tomato sauce.

Cheers,

Jake

Jake, You are most prob right - need more protein - but the reality this morning was I was running late for work and last night my dinner consisted of 3 snags in bread and beers at bowling club.

Bear, I had a Paris Creek Latte (think farmers union iced coffee with real milk and coffee) with lunch (tuna and salad on turkish bread)...a meal in a box those IC's...yum.

I've know about this site for a while. It is a pisser!

My breakfast...3 weet-bix's mixed with a bit of musili and some OJ, this is at 7.00. I usually have my first coffee at 10.00am, then at 3.00pm and then at home at about 9.00pm. It doesn't affect my sleep.

I didnt get it till I went back and actually read the packet - Laugh - Laugh Laugh.

Now JCR I already fessed up to a drooling problem with your photography and yu go and start a thread combining great food and yourphotography - Im getting a variation of nappy rash on my chine from all the dribble!

But I made porridge from real oats! Added sultana's in the cooking always use hal;f water and half full cream milk to get it even creamier - forgot to put a dollop of double cream on top of the porridge and intead put a big spoon of LSA - covered in honey and a moat of milk and felt very satisfied! I think its kinda healthy!

Miss Silvia makes an appearance at my place every morning without fail also! Flat white is what I prefer though. Usually accompanied by a couple of slices of toast (vegemite, peanut butter and raspberry jam) and a peice of fruit of sorts...banana, orange.

OR

Whatever was left over from dinner :)
