Tube friendly speakers for 45W of pure class A, is there a need for High Efficiency speakers with an amp like Earle's Topaz120, does HE automatically mean full range drivers and big cabinets? Small room issue too. WAF is not really a factor as she's not really allowed in my room... I've read that flat Impedance matched to the output transformer, rather than sensitivity is the key. Full range means no crossovers yes? Further information: Hi I offer my Süsskind PULS. They are made by Joachim Gerhard, well known previous owner and mastermind of Audio Physic and quite efficient with 95 dB and come with the dedicated stands made by Bfly Audio. I have used them with my Ongaku for 4 years now and I really like them. They put out a very substantial bass and very smooth trebles without missing anything in the frequency range. Imaging is off course outstanding as you would expect from this sort of speaker. They come from a reasonably famous record producer in Germany who not surprisingly used them for mixing and They are like new with original packing. i think about selling them because I just got some quite iconic JBL speakers and want to try them for a while although I know already that the Puls are actually better in my room and I will probably regret selling them. the retail price including the dedicated stands is around 8900 euro in Germany. I am the 3rd owner. They can be used in fully active, active passive or passive mode. I haven't had a chance to experiment with these speakers as i haven't had the time and only have an integrated amp. I bought a pair of Suesskind Puls a while ago and I have decided to sell the WLM. The external crossover comes with a remote control. The sensitivity is 98dB. Cosmetically excellent. Sound wise I cannot tell you too much, I never used them properly. They come with the original boxes and if you pick them up yourself, you can have the stands as well but they have suffered a bit from moving. There are very favourable reviews on the net. They suit nice low powered single ended valve amps.  They are priced to go quickly and slightly negotiable Cheers Christian  pictures
