The Reflex C is a mid-tier phono pre-amplifier from the boutique UK circuit designer Graham Slee. It has been made specifically for moving coil cartridges and has a fixed gain of 62 dB and input impedance of 100 ohms. This phono stage has successfully been used with both Ortofon MC 20 Super and European Audio Team Jo No5 (0.33 mV output) cartridges. The Reflex C is absolutely silent with tremendous sound stage and fidelity. Fantastic value and performance. The phono stage comes with the Graham Slee PSU1 and a Nordost Purple Flare power cord upgrade. It is being offered for sale as I journey along the analogue path trying different options. This near new Power Plant is for sale, not because I don’t like it but rather because I love it! I have used it for a month and just cannot believe the change it has made even though it has hardly had enough time to burn in. I noticed the following after adding the P3: As well-documented by others, bass becomes tighter and extends deeper. So much so, I had to re-tune my subs and lower both cross-over and volume. The normal listening level became louder as the dynamics of my system vastly improved. The sound stage got bigger both in width and height. Perhaps the biggest change for me was the depth. I did have a stage well behind my main speakers but after adding the P3 it doubled giving lots of space between sounds. You can easily place instruments in front or behind each other. So, I am selling the P3 because I was so thoroughly impressed that I am buying a larger Power Plant to include more of my components. I think you will be hard pressed to spend this kind of money on any one component and get such far-reaching improvement. This Power Plant is only a month into its 3-year warranty and it will be transferred to you. I can organize shipping with Australia Post in the original packing including the shipping box. Postage within Australia is $70 (it is a heavy unit) and, if you wish, insurance up to $2,200 would cost $53.

Further information: For sale is a pair of 2-way tuned port speakers from the Interdyn Designer Series made in Melbourne. The Designer Series concept was to source the quality drivers from SEAS in Norway for Australian designed and build cabinets. The crossover employ air-cored (as opposed to ferrite-cored )inductors and polypropylene capacitors. The two SEAS drivers consist of a 25mm aluminium tweeter and a 200mm treated fibre cone and heavy barium ferrite magnet woofer. The speakers were for many years successfully pair with the Mission Cyrus III (2x 50W) integrated amplifier given the drivers' 94db sensitivity. These speakers are reportedly very well match with valve amplifiers. The Jarrah veneer cabinets have faded over the years and there is evidence of wear. The drivers, however, have never been damaged, removed or even cleaned for sale and are therefore in good condition. The speakers' condition has been listed as fair overall.
