    Some good news at last about extra channels, mostly because I have been watching a lot of SBS and ABC in the last 12 months. The commercial channels are broadcasting to much crap (reality tv) and will probably continue broadcast more crap on the extra channels.

    Thanks for that, I was using the TVFIX guide which must have been wrong, But SC10 is still in the wrong broadcasting a good program with a 11:50pm start time and a 2:00am finish time, some people do have to work the next day. So I still stand by my previous statement "stuff you channel 10"

    Turned on tv to watch Dexter last night, it was advertised as a double episode starting at 10:40pm. It had been replaced by swimming with no warning. I have just rented the rest of season 2 and will watch it over the next week. I will also be renting season 3, and since Channel 10 shows no regard for their viewers from now on I will be viewing all SC10 programs I am interested in on CHANNEL BT. Stuff you channel 10.

    I am watching it on Prime and they are inserting the add breaks from the SD channel so halfway though a scene or mid-conversation a add break suddenly appears, and to top that off 60 seconds after the show starts again they have the HD breakaway.

    You can get accusound speakers brand new on ebay for $600 - $800, just do a search for "Accusound" , dont know if they are the Theta range

    Look like the low dollar is starting to work it way into the pricing, they also increase the onkyo 606 from $1090 to $1277

    They probably have the RRP which is $1099 if you look at the Yamaha web site, but no one pays that. Had a look at the JB online store which has them at $877 JB Online Store

    Just had a look now, everything is fine on PrimeHD Wagga, may be a problem with your local transmitter.

    If I remember correctly they are using the excuse that they can't broadcast local content commercials or something to that effect.

    When are SC10 HD starting regional transmissions, I keep missing all the good stuff.

    Its a shame they forgot to flick the switch for Southern NSW I've really enjoyed the previous HD broadcasts and hate missing out because of incompetent programming, really what's the point of running the HD loop while transmitting in 576i on the SD channel.

    No HD transmission of Supernatural last night, again! Had to laugh at the beginning when the "Presented in HD" logo came up and I was stuck watching it in 576i At least it was the final episode for this series, hopefully channel 10 will get their act together for the next series (looks out window and sees flying pig).

    Simply not true, look at music downloads which have been available for many years now and have not had any real effect on the sale of CDs.

    Is the worm part only temporary, I read some where the worm is only being kept as a corporate logo and is being removed from TV screens.

    Just a reminder for all the Top Gear fans out there to tune in to SBS tonight , I just wish it was in HD .

    This thread shows the problem most average people have. I just want to be able to buy a movie and be able to play it in one device.

    All they have to do is flip the switch and we could all be getting the extra content instead of the HD Demo loop. I think they are worried about being unable to show regionally based commercials. Personally I dont see the problem, Seven/Prime/HD just shows national based commercials.

    At present they are only broadcasting a few nights ever week, a couple of late night movies at 10:30pm plus "That 70's Show" and "The Grid". They switch from the regular "Prime" broadcast to the "Prime HD" broadcast.
