Love mine, amazing amp.

They provide perfect bass performance by the way. You can add a bass of course if you need. I pair them with a sub for my desktop setting, really nice.

Buchardt sells upgrade kits (crossover board) if anyone is interested. Though I think it is bit over priced. I like mine a lot, with a tube pre and a A/B power Amp, they are perfect home office/desktop speakers.

It looks like your AV room is quite big, Upgrading is definitely right decision. I went to 2 PB 2000 pro straight away in a smaller room, never regretted.

Totally different thing, HDMI is used to transfer AV signal but I2S is used to send digital audio signal only, because it has more path, so higher accuracy, I guess? Totally different signal format, just same format of cable.

One is Coax and One is BNC. some streamer like LUMIN D2 supports BNC to BNC connection, but basically both Coax. BNC is also used for external clocks for DACs. Just my 2 cents.

Further information: I bought this beautiful Amp from one of our SNA member. Output is 75 wpc 8 ohms both channels driven, six line inputs and it also has MM phono input. Comes with CR90 remote. Last of the FMJ series made in England. It also has Pre Amp mode and Power Amp mode, can be used as Pre amplifier or as Power Amp for HT system. As many reviews online, this is a iconic English sound Amplifier with lay back sound for long term listening session. I really enjoyed it as my desktop amplifier for Jazz, classical, electrical music and vocal, etc. Minor scratch on the top, not visible when it is on the shelf or desktop. Main features 2x75W RMS Dual speaker output (I used it to also run my Krix Alfresco speakers) MM phono section HT Bypass Trim levels for each input Learning multi device remote I don't have the original box, so preferably local pick up, but postage can be arranged at agreed cost.
