Yeah it’s going to be ? The dac power supplies will have one heat sink amp each in the case. With the standard heat sinks supplied with the kit and they just run too hot for my liking. This should shut it up.

Will be built most likely in this chassis i was going to build a class a amp in it but never got around to it. seems overkill but the amount power supplies in the Buffalo dac and the heat each one generates will actually get them warm.

When I did get to use them they were awesome when mated with my beastly Holton nxv500 I built.

Still researching but maybe a passdiy headphone amp when it is available or a salas dcg3... not too sure yet. It will be paired with a dual mono buffalo 3 that I have working right now. All will be housed in one chassis. So the Dac is definitely sorted, just headphone/preamp needs to be figured out.

Yeah they sound awesome just don’t have the time. the idea is that I get some good headphones, build a good headphone amp and use them at work. the wife doesn’t know I’m getting rid of these either.... very high waf level which is rare

Fair call, pricing I think should have a value around the 1400 but will consider offers higher or lower. so right now my system is purely 2ch and I am looking to simplify everything rather than having seperates for everything. Down the track I also want to build a multichannel/room setup which is one part of the reason to get an av pre/pro I generally build my own gear if I can but av processors are something that can’t be diy unfortunately. Yep regret selling my topaz. Truly a fantastic amp. The kids would have learnt not to touch them after a while

Troels designs are probably the best out there, when it's implemented well they beat most speakers at more than double the cost. Good luck on the sale

That's stupid cheap, honestly.. If you were in Brisbane I would have those in a flash. A decent cabinet with a design from Troels should be exempt from the low prices diy items usually get

I have a pair of 15inch audio nirvana speakers which should fit these. Happy to pick up Saturday.
