Following on from a prestigious series, the 1Xpression Carbon Classic is the 6th generation of the classic Pro-Ject 1, presented for the first time way back in 1991. The current version of our iconic turntable includes a totally new carbon tone-arm with spin-off EVO technology. Thermo plastic elastomers (TPE) are used in a sandwich construction with aluminium for optimised resonance behaviour. The platter bearing axle is made from low tolerance chrome plated stainless steel running on a Teflon bottom in a bronze bearing housing. Selling my Excite x16 bookshelves.
I recently had a friend over and had these on top of Tannoy Ardens and told him the Ardens were playing. He had no idea it was the little Dynshe was listening to. The bass really is stunning as is the complete sound from these.
There are some slight marks on the top of one speaker shown in pics but difficult to see.
Tweeters are in great shape. I have bungs and tweeter protectors for transport.

Bought recently and love this rack from Perth SNA member cafe67 , so well made, and great isolation with spiked feet, I think It can come apart for freight, 3 shelves and one with cable management. Very heavy and solid, Couple of small chips out of the shelves, not really noticeable but there. Can take better or close up shots just ask and can supply measurements too, each shelf sits on various sorbathane style feet which attach to the shelves internally.

Excellent condition except for the ear pads which need replacing - fine to get you through - but flaking.
Hardly used - the headband, metal work and wood is in amazing condition. No marks on the wood.
Kept in their lacquer box most of their life.

History:
I have owned these for 6 months of their 6 yr life – I bought them from the original owner and I am selling them as part of my transition to affording another home.
I'm a non-smoker. Previous owner is non-smoker and worked away most of the year as a photographer.  He, like me, is fastidious with his equipment and the wear on them is clearly minimal for this reason.

It's been absolutely flawless since I've had it, and it's served me very very well, I'm sad to see it go. No issues with it at all, I've had a 5.1.4 setup hooked up to it since purchase and it all sounds fantastic. Colin Whatmough’s most ambitious speakers, these units have historic serial nos. 1 and 2.
 
One owner. Large floor-standing, 4-way. Each speaker has 6 drivers: 1 x 305mm subwoofer, 2 x 175mm bass, 2 x 100mm midrange, 1 x tweeter.
 
The subwoofer enclosures are structurally separate; the other enclosures mount on top of them. The subs are powered by inbuilt 240W amps, and some crossover parameters are adjustable. In addition, there is an active Whise Acoustics box that implements a Neville Thiele Method crossover between subs and bass. The drive units apart from the subs can be driven by a single stereo amp or anything up to tri-amped.
 
The sound is excellent. They were reviewed glowingly in Australian Hi-Fi (November/December 2005: “Are these Australia’s best loudspeakers?”). The Paragons are still on the The Audio Experts website, RRP $49.999/pair.

In good condition. Headband was always kept wrapped in a woolen protector. 
Pads are used but still in reasonable condition.

I mainly used it for great stereo sound and for watching a movie with a central channel.
I auditioned some modern stereo DACs about a year ago and still thought this pre-amplifier sounded better and so kept it.
 
All channels and inputs work with no faults. 
The front display is a little dim but remains readable.
The front volume knob and Power Button have visible ware.
The remote is probably the aspect with the most ware.

Amazing sound, eminently portable and built like a tank. If you're looking at this you've probably read the reviews and know the specs so I won't write an essay on how good it is or what it can do.
 
It comes with all the original accessories and also a 3d printed stand. The stand is crucial as the sound really opens up when you take the Minirig off it's backside and point it at yourself (not sure of the technical terms for this.

This was a Systemdek IV electronic owned by my father but the original motor and electronic control no longer worked and was in storage for a while.  I replaced the motor with an Origin Live Advanced Speed Control box with upgraded power supply.  Speed control for 33/45 can be adjusted at the back of the speed control box. The turntable is in excellent condition and the arm board is cut for the older style Rega or Origin Live arm.  I have tried it with an Origin Live Conqueror arm.  
 
I don't have the box for it and due to its weight due to its heavy platter it is collection only.
