  1. @peppy I have only tried RME, Bifrost and Ares. So i'm trying to get a sense of both DAC3 and Pontus sound by interpolating those 3. I assume DAC3 sounds (being delta sigma) sound closer to RME? Is it like an upgraded version of RME with similar tonality/signature? And I assume Pontus is like upgraded version of Ares?
  2. Wow, that's a massive jump from RME ADI2 All the best !
  3. Thanks for your interests. Its currently pending pickup
  4. Further information: Its the latest RME-ADI2. No warranty left. Working great, EXCEPT I recently just noticed 3.5mm iem jack behaves strangely. You need to insert the jack slowly in 2 steps. I suspect the issue is caused by spring inside 3.5mm jack but I cant be certain. 6.35mm and XLR/RCA out have no issue. 5. Yep as @Bengineer as said. BH Crack esp with Speeball upgrade has a better detail and more "energetic" than DV. DV sounds hollow in comparison.
  6. ATH-R70X has a more neutral tonality than HD6xx.. Yes, bass is not roll off as HD6xx. HD6xx has a legendary lush mid/vocal. In term of treble, I still think R70x is better because it's more detailed. HD6xx sounds like a different headphone with OTL tube amp - more musical and more enjoyable to listen to. The details seems to improve as well. R70x sound does not seem to be improve with OTL amp. In term of ergonocmis, R70x is super light but feels cheap and plasticky. I hate that headband wing as well. HD6xx cup feels tight but after few weeks of stretchi
  7. Thanks @peppy As much as I love HD800s, it leaks sound abit too much and gives no privacy. My wife keeps staring at me when I'm listening to the Wiggles.
  8. I'm reading between lines that Stellia and Verite C are best CB - but still fall short of Open back. Is it correct? I'm thinking to replace my HD800s with Verite C or Stellia - but can they compete with HD800s in term of technicality?
  9. Further information: I bought this just 2 weeks ago from this group (see prev ads below). I love the bass and really enjoy listening with it esp for rock music. But it's too heavy for me. esp after getting used to the alot lighter HD800s. This LCD X has fazor. I only noticed it after taking it home. Audeze website also supports this by saying all LCD X have fazor. 10. Ah yeah. I remembered to be asked driver license and bank details. This can be a legit ads then. Ebay has seller driver license and bank details. Even if a hacker managed to get access to the seller account, the bank details will be the actual seller. They payment will go to the actual seller. So the hacker won't be able to steal any money. But too many red flags..
  11. New u12t for $1250? Seems to good to be true? The person sold previous 2. Why would anyone have 3x u12t?! No paypal option. Will ebay give some protection? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/64-Audio-u12t-IEM-Brand-New-/224338741399?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286
