The UK Audio Show's organisers have revealed plans to expand this premier hi-fi event in 2023 but, first, our thoughts go out to the Bird family and all who knew Quinton Bird, who sadly passed away on 25th June after being diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. Quinton was the eldest son of the show's organiser, Roy Bird, who has dedicated this year's show to Quinton's memory.
In addition, a percentage of the ticket sales will be donated to the Brain Tumour Charity when they go on sale to the general public on 1st August 2022.
UK Audio Show 2023
Excitingly, in 2023, The UK Audio Show will occupy the whole Staverton Park Hotel complex as it increases its national and international status.
This expansion will offer space for an extra 100 exhibitors with further plans, including a major concert on the show's Saturday evening and an increased presence of keynote speakers, workshops, and listening sessions during show days.
There are also plans for a new special zone dedicated to manufacturers from a specific country under a new handshake scheme. We are told that all the additions and enhancements will be added to the unique package for exhibitors, which includes dinner, bed and breakfast, plus unlimited coffee and tea.
Also, we are told that there will be a dedicated period for the trade and media and an expansion of the show's highly-respected awards scheme.
We are reminded that exhibition space at this year's UK Audio Show, which will be held on the 8th and 9th of October 2022, is now 95% sold, and pre-booking for complimentary tickets is described as "very brisk", with "in excess of 11% being new to the show!" The UK Audio Show 2022 is all set to be a record-breaking event while providing something for everyone.
