Noble has been renowned for its universal and custom in-ear monitor design and development for over a decade. This is all set to change as it welcomes its first over-ear, active noise-cancelling model to its stable of IEMs - the FoKus Apollo.
Those drivers are a patented 40mm dynamic driver paired with a 14.5mm planar magnetic unit, which Noble states is "a completely unique headphone in sound and design."
This hybrid approach aims to garner the best of both worlds - the delicacy and accuracy of planars alongside the excellent bass achieved by dynamic drivers.
Noble's FoKus Apollo comprises an anodised aluminium frame, Alcantara headband, and replaceable premium protein leather earpads, all of which promise "supreme comfort and added isolation".
We are told that the FoKus Apollo features an integrated ADI chip combined with three microphones per side for superior hybrid ANC performance with a reduction depth of up to -35db.
You also get LDAC and aptX HD codec support with Bluetooth 5.3 (QCC3084 chip) and up to 80 hours of playtime—60 hours with ANC active—for uninterrupted musical enjoyment. Charging time is quoted as around 3 hours, with no mention of fast charge.
Additionally, the FoKus Apollo boasts multipoint connection and transparency mode, as well as an app that adds personalised EQ adjustments.
According to Noble, gamers will be pleased to find a removable boom mic in addition to the high-quality built-in one, as it makes the FoKus Apollo "the ultimate communication device".
A 3.5mm audio cable is also included for using the headphones in wired mode, expanding their already wide range of uses for gaming, streaming, and podcasting.
The Noble FoKus Apollo ANC wireless headphones are now available for £599/ €699.
