Cadbury's vegemite chocolate

Featured Replies

Finally grabbed a bar the other day as I just HAD to try it.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I love weird flavour combinations that would make a pregnant woman's cravings seem like homebrand pre-sliced cheese.

But yeah, nah, hmm, eeew.

I was surprised and a bit disappointed, as I really thought I would like it,

I mean, I love Promite/peanutbutter/nutella/jam sandwiches....

But this...

No not so much.

:(

Any fans?

goes well with cheese and toast ?

...axel grease at end of it ...

Don't like art, don't like dodgy chocolate. Where will this end!

Some one gave me some, we both agreed.

When I tried it I didn't taste enough Vegemite for Cadbury to be able to say that Vegemite was even in it.

Always keep chocolate cold in the fridge IMO, and this breed of morphed chocolate is the bomb.

Disgusting.... Never again.

Stay tuned

Yes!

Nothing worse than almost melting chocolate that coats your gob.

I know plenty of people who think I'm weird for keeping chocolate (and any kind of lollies/sweets) in the fridge.

A mate swears by opening crisp packets and keeping them in the freezer.

I have yet to try this but like keeping them in the fridge as well.

:)

Haha

I'm not a real fan of chocolate.

I hate dark chocolate. And I hate it in the fridge.

Mrs Jake eats a lot of dark chocolate which she keeps in the fridge.

Interesting

I thought it was too much vegemite.

Hmm

Oh yeah, this vegemite stuff is ****.

So negative all the time.

Tsk

Just tried another piece to be sure to be sure,

It starts off ok, all chocolate-y and caramel-y and then the vegemite sneaks around the corner and blaaaaaaah

Cant beat toasted Vegemite/Honey on white bread........ :love ......and dark chocolate 90% cocoa is the best....

You know......

Might be on to something there.....

Make some toast, crush a few pieces of this gunk, spread on toast, pop in microwave oven for 30 seconds to melt it........

I'm gonna try that

(Some other day)

:)

There are things in life that don't need to be tried to know that you won't like it, but then again YOU might! :P

I didn't think anything could make Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate worse. I was wrong.

One of my fav weird combos is cod roe paste (comes in a tube in scandinavia, called kaviar, nothing like russian caviar which is overpriced rubbish) and honey.

The salty fishy and sweet goes so well together.

Impossible to describe to anyone who has not tried the tubed goodness I speak of as there's nothing like it elsewhere.

:)

Vanilla ice cream and thousand island salad dressing is another ripper

:)

I don't believe in that.

Never have.

DVP, you have no place amongst us gastronomes.

Be gone!

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I see what you did there

Gotcha

I think it's a common opinion shared by many that I have no place on this forum full stop

You'd miss me if I was to leave though.
