I'd be interested in around a dozen. Postage to WA would probably be a problem though..

Why would anyone have 1000 bottles locked away in storage? Just my suspicious mind I suppose, but then again, I have tasted red wine and no wonder they have not been drank, 'it's awfull stuff!:P

Grumps, a 1000 bottles is a typical size cellar for a serious wine collector. that gives you enough head room to keep them for about 10 years before they are drunk. you just have to keep putting new ones in at the same rate you take the old ones out.

that's only 100 bottles a year or two a week when ya think about it...

I'd be interested too although I'm in Melbourne. I only drink red but I do need to restock the cellar a bit, down to about 100 I suspect although I only drink wine about every fortnight. Just give us some info on what is available and the price and I'll be in to it.

Good greif, when they chap mentioned to me that he also had a 1000 bottles of wine to sell I wasn realy consontrating as I was to busy checking out the Guaneri's I had no idea it was in that price range, I new he was quite well of as he said he had baught the Guaneri's over from Hongkong so he could listen to a decsent system while staying here, He then said I use the SF Amati Homage in his house in HongKong, After we chatted for a while it came to the sale of the speakers I said I have $4500 in cash for your speakers he did not flinch that is ok he I gave him the envelope with the cash in and put it in his pocket after having a quick glance at it, I said you had better check to make sure it is the right amount, he said there is no need to check I can tell your are an honest person, I was agasp:eek:

Any way that is about all I know of the fellow I baught the Guaneri's from.
