I am the butt of unfair comment at GTGs for hogging the sweet spot with a glass of red.

Last nights effort was out of the blue.

Well last night I drank very well

A mate of geeks, a chef, called in with 2 Bottles of RED wine each 90% full that had been left at his restaurant

Sealed with corks - interesting. ....

Mmmmm Penfolds bin 707 1998 nose -ripe plums (i argued for "prunes" but was out voted by the tasting panel)and chocolate -color almost black still fine not really browning at edges.

On the taste buds it's age was evident but only just and it had been open 24 hours.

Obviously cellared very well.

Complemented a mature king island black label washed rind cheese spanish olives and a mild salami well.

Now the other wine was ..... Later maybe

Yum! Can almost smell that delicious combo from here....
