My Mission 774 has the SME Base?

I thought I was going mad on LP12 changes....

Just a perspex sub-chassis and an acrylic arm-board besides the Valhalla.

Can you tell me what it is made of.
To me it looks like machined slate or carbon.

The Top Plate is milled Aluminium & The Sub- Chassis is an Acrylic Polymer

Offboard RCA Block done using WBT Nextgen RCAs .

Now to ship this & the Mission tonearm off to Audio Origami for a rewire?

The Mission 774 arm now re-wired by Audio Origami with its off board RCA Connector box using Nextgen WBT RCAs.

Next is the Karousel bearing!

Also upgraded from the original saggy counter weight for a heavier under slung weight?

Finally starting to piece the LP12 Back together 🤘

@Caponei ran a Mission arm on my Linn for over 20yrs with an Ortofon SPU Classic N (body removed) with Garrott micro scanner tip, fantastic combination, but alas, times change, long gone........

Its Alive 😁😁

Still fine tuning at this stage

As good as the ole Rega was i now have the separation & Dynamics ive been chasing.

Ive put about 30 odd Hrs now onto the Grado, they reccomend up tp 70! Happy camper 😃
